  • Conduct research on target accounts and personas to personalize outreach and increase engagement.
  • Maintain accurate records of prospect interactions and pipeline activity in the CRM.
  • Meet or exceed weekly and monthly KPIs for outreach volume, meetings booked, and qualified opportunities.
  • Support campaign execution by following up on webinar attendees, content downloads, and event leads.
  • Provide real-time feedback to marketing on lead quality, messaging effectiveness, and campaign performance.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to align on ideal customer profiles, account targeting, and handoff processes.
  • Stay up to date on product knowledge, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Represent the company with professionalism, curiosity, and a focus on delivering value in every interaction.

Your ideal qualifications:

  • 1–2 years of experience in a sales development, sales or customer-facing role (SaaS experience a plus)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly
  • Comfortable making cold calls and sending outbound emails to engage new prospects
  • Highly organized with strong time management skills and attention to detail
  • Resourceful in finding, building, and nurturing relationships with key decision-makers and leaders
  • Curious, coachable, and eager to learn about our product, customers, and sales process
  • A self-starter mentality with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed KPIs in a fast-paced environment

Benefits you’ll enjoy:

  • Flexible Paid Time Off policy and working hours
  • Home Office stipend for new hires
  • Multiple Medical Insurance options, plus Dental and Vision
  • 401k (with company match)
  • Equity Program Eligibility (based on role and/or tenure)
  • Paid Maternity and Paternity Leave
  • Disability insurance

This role will ideally be located within a commutable distance of Indianapolis, Chicago, Boston OR Atlanta areas. The base salary range for this role is $45,000- $50,000.  Actual base salary is determined by factors such as, but not limited to, experience, education, skills, and geographic location.  Certain roles are eligible for commissions subject to commission plans and policies that may be in effect occasionally.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
