About the Company:

CodeNinja is a software and AI company solving high-impact problems for global businesses at the intersection of engineering and AI. We operate across four core tracks:

  • Physical AI: intelligent systems that bridge the digital and physical worlds
  • Work AI: transforming internal workflows using autonomous AI agents
  • Hyper (Forward-Deployed Engineering Platform): our platform that helps teams convert requirements into production-grade software rapidly
  • Global Capability & Research Centers: building elite engineering and research capability across South Asia and the Middle East

We partner with ambitious companies in the U.S., Middle East, and globally—helping them build internal AI systems, scale engineering teams, and accelerate product development.

This role is centered on HYPER.

About the role:
We are seeking a Sales Development Representative (Technical – Hyper Platform) to drive outbound outreach for Hyper, CodeNinja’s forward-deployed engineering platform. This role requires a blend of technical curiosity, sales discipline, and strong communication, targeting CTOs, VPs of Engineering, Product Leaders, and AI teams across North America and LATAM. The ideal candidate has a passion for developer platforms, AI-native tools, and early-stage GTM motions, with interest in fast-tracking into roles like Account Executive, Partnerships, or Product GTM.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and prioritize target companies that would benefit from Hyper.
  • Research and engage with CTOs, VPs of Engineering, Product Leaders, and AI teams.
  • Craft highly personalized, technical outreach that clearly communicates Hyper’s value.
  • Qualify interest and book high-quality meetings for the Hyper GTM team.
  • Collaborate with product, marketing, and founders to refine messaging, demos, and sequences.
  • Support Hyper-driven GTM activities including events, executive dinners, demos, and conferences.
  • Build outbound sequences tailored for technical buyers and engineering-first organizations.
  • Apply best practices in outbound sales, pipeline building, and CRM discipline.
  • Contribute ideas to shape Hyper’s early go-to-market strategy and positioning.

Requirements

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant technical field (or equivalent experience).
  • 0–2 years of experience in sales, SDR/BDR roles, or technical customer-facing positions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts.
  • Curiosity and interest in developer tools, AI platforms, and software engineering workflows.
  • Self-starter with the ability to operate in fast-paced, evolving environments.
  • Comfortable using LLMs and AI tools for personalization, research, and productivity.
  • Eagerness to grow into roles such as Account Executive, Partnerships, or Product GTM

Travel Requirements:

  • This is a remote role, but occasional travel (2–4 times per year) may be required for team offsites, customer meetings, or Hyper-related events.
  • All approved travel expenses will be covered.

Why Join Us

  • Work directly with founders and senior product leaders, gaining exposure to developer platforms, AI-native systems, and modern engineering workflows.
  • Fast-track your career toward Account Executive, Partnerships, or Product GTM roles.
  • Contribute to a high-impact product (Hyper) at an early stage, shaping how engineering teams build software with AI.
  • Learn and apply cutting-edge outbound techniques for technical and AI-first buyers.
  • Join a team that values curiosity, creativity, and execution.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
