What You Will Do

  • Research accounts and prospects using a mix of AI-powered tools and traditional sources to understand their business context.

  • Engage prospects across email, LinkedIn, and phone with relevant, thoughtful outreach.

  • Hold meaningful conversations that uncover real problems, priorities, and timing.

  • Qualify interest and determine whether prospects are a strong fit for Joist AI.

  • Schedule meetings and provide clear, well-structured handoffs to Account Executives.

  • Maintain accurate activity, notes, and next steps in HubSpot.

  • Use feedback from conversations to improve messaging, targeting, and outreach approaches.

  • Continuously learn new tools and workflows to work more effectively and efficiently.

What We’re Looking For
  • 1+ year of experience in B2B SaaS sales, sales development, or a comparable customer-facing role.

  • Strong conversational skills - you can listen, ask good questions, and communicate clearly.

  • Comfort using AI tools as part of your daily work (for research, writing, learning, problem-solving, and automation).

  • Ability to pick up new tools and processes quickly with minimal guidance.

  • Intellectual curiosity and the ability to understand new industries, technologies, and business problems.

  • Organized and self-directed, with the ability to manage follow-ups and priorities.

  • Resilient, consistent, and comfortable engaging new people.

  • Actively seeks and applies coaching, embraces constructive feedback, and consistently invests in improving their craft.

Nice to have (not required):

  • Experience in the AEC sector and/ or construction technology.

  • Experience with HubSpot or similar CRM tools.

  • Comfort working with AI-powered sales tools and an eagerness to adopt new signals and workflows developed in partnership with our GTM team
