ABOUT THE POSITION

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) plays an important role in Virtuos’ growth. As the first point of contact for studios and publishers across the global gaming ecosystem, you will introduce Virtuos’ capabilities, spark new relationships, and uncover early client needs. Your work will directly fuel the Business Development team with high-quality opportunities. 

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys research, relationship-building, and creating momentum in a fast-growing, creative industry.

Responsibilities
  • Research and identify prospective clients across the gaming ecosystem. 

  • Generate new opportunities through outbound email, phone, LinkedIn, and digital campaigns. 

  • Qualify inbound and outbound leads based on fit, need, and timing. 

  • Engage prospects to understand their goals, challenges, and development needs. 

  • Maintain consistent outreach cadences and follow-ups to build early interest. 

  • Clearly communicate Virtuos’ value proposition and service capabilities. 

  • Schedule discovery meetings and hand off well-qualified opportunities to Business Development Managers. 

  • Manage early-stage pipeline activity in Salesforce with accurate, up-to-date records. 

  • Track outreach, lead status, and conversion progress; flag pipeline gaps or bottlenecks. 

  • Share relevant market and competitive insights; support sales and marketing campaigns and events. 

  • Stay informed on video game industry trends, emerging studios, publishers, and evolving development needs. 

Qualifications
  • Qualifications 

    • Required Skills & Experience 
    • 1–3 years of experience in sales, business development, or a client-facing role. 
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills. 
    • Proven ability to research prospects and generate qualified leads. 
    • Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working toward targets. 
    • Experience using Salesforce or a similar CRM. 

    Preferred Skills & Experience 

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. 
    • Experience in B2B services, SaaS, or technology sales. 
    • Familiarity with the video games or entertainment industry. 
    • Experience with sales engagement tools (e.g., Outreach, Salesloft, LinkedIn Sales Navigator). 

This position offers a combination of base salary and performance-based variable compensation, with total on-target earnings expected to range between $70,000 – $100,000.

Virtuos maintains a location-based compensation structure; therefore, the salary range may vary for candidates residing in different geographic markets.

Virtuos takes into consideration candidate's education, experience, training, and seniority levels along with external market condition. The range posted is only one component of Virtuos compensation, we also offer:
