You’ll define how things get built, not follow someone else’s playbook. Six principles guide how the team works:

  • 📈 1% Better Every Day: small, compounding improvements across everything you ship.

  • ❤️‍🔥 Customer Obsession: start with the customer and work backward.

  • 🚀 Ship Today: bias toward action and iteration over perfection.

  • 🧗 Find a Way: resourcefulness and ambition over constraint.

  • 🤝 Care: be direct, like an honest friend, even when it’s uncomfortable.

  • 🎯 Own It: full accountability, proactive communication, and attention to detail.

About the Role

This is a full-time outbound role on our Executive Sales team. You will work closely with our founder and executive sales director to build a net-new pipeline from their network of general counsel and legal leaders and help move existing deals forward. Most of your outreach goes to a warm network, so you will spend time crafting bespoke messaging and building relationships with senior legal leaders.

You will get direct exposure to our founder and executives. The role has a clear path to Account Executive or other positions within the Revenue team.

What You Will Do

  1. Run outbound outreach to general counsel and legal leaders through the founder’s LinkedIn, email, and personal network.

  2. Write and refine outreach messages for executives and Account Executives.

  3. Build targeted lists for special projects, such as investor introductions and strategic accounts.

  4. Plan targeted outreach to executives before industry events and conferences.

  5. Coordinate executive dinners, including guest lists, invitations, and follow-ups.

  6. Track your activity and pipeline in our CRM and share what is working with the team.

What We Are Looking For

  1. A bachelor’s degree

  2. 2 years of sales experience

  3. Strong writing skills. You can write a short, clear message that a busy executive will want to answer.

  4. A strong work ethic and a habit of following through without reminders.

  5. Curiosity and good judgment when representing the company to senior leaders.

  6. Organization. You can manage several projects and deadlines at the same time.

  7. An interest in law, legal AI, and technology.

What You Will Get

  1. Direct exposure to our founder and mentorship from the Executive Sales Director.

  2. Hands-on sales training and a clear path to an Account Executive role.

A Note On Pace

We’re building something new in a once-in-a-generation shift in technology and the legal industry, so we move at a relentless pace. We expect urgency, ownership, and good judgment even when things aren’t perfectly clear. If you need structure and consensus to do your best work, this isn’t the right place for you. If you thrive in ambiguity and growth, work with intensity, and want real responsibility, keep reading. We’re excited to meet you.

How We Work Together

GC AI is a distributed company with team members across North America, and soon Europe. We believe that because our business is AI, human connection matters more, not less. We invest in bringing people together through our hub model: regular coworking sessions, customer dinners, team and company offsites. If you’re in a location without an office, expect up to 10% travel (and more for customer-facing roles).

Team members in the San Francisco Bay Area and Provo, UT (within 50 miles of the office) work together on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. As we grow, we plan to establish permanent offices in more hub cities, and we will look to our team members to help build that in-person culture. We currently hire across the United States and Canada.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
