Your mission

As an Sales Development Representative (SDR) at M-Files, you are the engine of our growth in the DACH region.
You’ll be the first point of contact for future customers, sparking curiosity, building trust, and qualifying opportunities that drive our business forward. This is your chance to make a real impact at a fast-growing, innovative company - while developing your skills and career in the process.

What you will do

  • Focus on New Business: Proactively reach out to organizations that are not current M-Files customers, using outbound calls, emails, social selling, and creative campaigns to spark interest.
  • Understand Prospects: Have thoughtful conversations to learn about each prospect’s needs and challenges, ensuring only strong opportunities are passed to the sales team.
  • Book Discovery Calls: Partner with sales to identify and engage decision-makers, securing discovery meetings that align with our go-to-market strategy.
  • Use Modern Tools: Make the most of our sales technology stack (including Salesforce, Sales Navigator, Lusha, 6sense, ZoomInfo, Gong, and others) to research, personalize, and connect at scale.
  • Work as a Team: Collaborate closely with sales and marketing colleagues across M-Files - sharing insights, refining messaging, and helping us all get better at what we do.
  • Build Your Network: Act as a brand ambassador for M-Files by attending key industry events, webinars, and prospect meetings - virtually or in person - to expand your market knowledge and build meaningful connections.

Requirements

Who you are

  • Native German speaker with excellent verbal and written communication skills in both German and English.
  • Minimum 1–3 years of experience as an SDR, BDR, or in inside sales within B2B tech, SaaS, or a fast-paced digital environment.
  • Comfortable using modern sales tools and CRM systems (Salesforce experience is a plus).
  • Curious, eager to learn, and open to feedback.
  • A creative problem-solver who enjoys working towards goals and overcoming challenges.
  • Able to work independently in a remote, international team - self-motivation and accountability are important.
  • Passionate about building relationships and delivering value, not just hitting numbers.
