As a Sales Development Associate (Sales Development Representative (SDR) at EDO, you will play a foundational role in expanding our footprint with the largest advertisers in linear and streaming television. Reporting to the Director of Sales Operations, this fully remote position offers the opportunity to develop data-driven outbound strategies, translate advertising analytics into compelling outreach, and collaborate closely with both Sales and Marketing to drive pipeline growth. • Translate insights from EDO’s Ad EnGage platform into compelling, data-backed outreach narratives.
  • Tailor messaging using industry-specific marketing materials and ABM campaign insights to align with audience interests and market trends.
  • Experiment with scalable research and outreach workflows, integrating AI-assisted tools (like Gemini and ChatGPT) to increase efficiency and personalization.
  • Maintain high-quality CRM data in HubSpot to ensure accurate contact targeting, pipeline visibility, and process documentation.
  • Follow up on marketing-generated leads to nurture interest and convert prospects into meetings.

  • 1-3 years of relevant experience; prior internship or sales experience preferred
  • Strong interest in sales, marketing, or advertising, with a long-term goal of advancing into a full-cycle sales role
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides); familiarity with LinkedIn and AI-powered tools preferred
  • Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to craft clear, compelling outreach based on data insights
  • Demonstrated curiosity, adaptability, and a willingness to learn and apply feedback quickly
  • Proven ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative, team-oriented environment
  • Flexibility to support colleagues across multiple U.S. time zones as needed

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
