Summary
Administers commission/incentive award payments to sales personnel based on commission plan provisions. Performs staff support activities needed for the development, implementation, communication and administration of sales commission or incentive programs, plans, policies and quotas. Reviews commission payment reports for accuracy and completeness. Able to verify and follow through, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of commission payments as outlined in the plan. Resolves reconciliation issues. Maintains and audits information needed to track revenue and other sales transaction types. May analyze sales performance results, prepare incentive performance reports, presentations, and recommendations for sales and/or finance management. Typically uses Incentive management systems, spreadsheets, CRM systems to gather data for payment calculation or analysis. May contribute to the development or improvement of systems to effectively track or capture data.
Additionally, this role will contribute to operational process improvements in incentive programs, quota management, incentive adjustments, regular payouts, incentive plan administration, and improving the scalability of our program tools. This role requires working with global business owners in HR, Legal, Sales, Finance, Sales Operations, Revenue and our Technical team to ensure our systems, data and processes properly support the delivery and execution of our Sales Incentive Programs. The ideal candidate has strong analytical abilities and a proven track record for rolling up their sleeves, maintaining a high level of ownership and accountability, and delivering best-in-class support to their internal and external customers.
What You Will Do (Core Responsibilities):
- Contribute to the strategy, design, policies, and guidelines of our sales incentive programs
- Recommend operational process improvements in incentives, quota management, incentive adjustments, regular payouts and program tools scalability
- Administration of monthly, quarterly and/or annual sales incentive plans and commission payments for our global selling teams
- Set up sales compensation system (CaptivateIQ): maintain HR information for sales hires, transfers and separations; issue territory and quota sheets to sales participants; ongoing support and communication with the sales participants and managers
- Partner with global business owners in HR, Legal, Sales, Finance, Sales Operations, Revenue and our Technical team to ensure the proper plan design, calculation, delivery and execution of sales incentives
- Maintain a high level of ownership and deliver best-in-class support to their internal and external customers
- Special projects such as process improvements, data analysis and presentations, SOX requirements, and report enhancements.

What You Need (Qualifications)
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance and equivalent experience
- Knowledge, skills and abilities typically gained from 2 – 5 years of experience administering sales incentive programs (incentives, quotas, territories), policies and processes each fiscal year (or as needed) that support business objectives.
- Experience and passion in sales incentive programs, systems and planning with the desire to help us define, build and execute all of our sales incentive ecosystems
- Proven expertise in Excel and sales incentive compensation systems such as CaptivateIQ
- Ability to consolidate and produce compensation metrics that assist in understanding the effectiveness of the plans and policies
What would be nice (preferred skills & experience):
- Expertise in CaptivateIQ configuration and performance reporting
- Experience in Salesforce and NetSuite data exports
