Next Generation Inc. is a fast-growing provider of cutting-edge solutions in Human Capital Management (HCM) and enterprise SaaS. We partner with organizations to optimize workforce processes through smart technology, deep industry expertise, and relentless customer focus. We’re expanding our sales team and looking for highly motivated professionals ready to drive revenue growth and make a real impact.

We’re seeking a driven Sales Associate with a strong background in SaaS sales and in selling Human Capital Management (HCM) products and services. You’ll be responsible for prospecting, qualifying, and developing new business opportunities through a mix of cold outreach, marketing follow-up, and smart use of sales technologies like Salesforce and ZoomInfo.

In addition to lead generation, you will actively participate in advancing deals through the sales cycle and support the closing of new business, collaborating closely with senior sales leadership and solution consultants.

This role is based in Chicago, IL, but is also open to remote candidates. Occasional travel is required to attend industry trade shows and conferences.


Job Responsibilities:

• Generate qualified leads through extensive cold calling and outbound prospecting

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities using ZoomInfo, LinkedIn, and other tools

• Manage pipeline and track activities using Salesforce.com

• Follow up on inbound leads and marketing-driven campaigns to convert interest into pipeline

• Actively support deal progression and business closings alongside the sales team

• Communicate Next Generation Inc’s value proposition to HR, IT, and business stakeholders

• Collaborate with marketing and technical teams to ensure solution alignment

• Participate in industry events, tradeshows, and conferences (minimal travel required)

• Meet and exceed assigned sales goals and activity KPIs


Job Qualifications:

• 2+ years of sales experience in a B2B or SaaS environment

• Proven success in cold calling and lead generation

• Proficiency with Salesforce.com, ZoomInfo and MailChimp or similar lead-generation platforms

• Microsoft Office proficiency

• Experience in selling Human Capital Management (HCM) to HR/IT audiences

• Experience with SaaS sales processes and consultative selling approaches

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and follow-up skills

• Self-starter with strong organizational skills and a results-driven mindset
