About the Role

We are looking for a Sales Assistant to support our Clubs business and work closely with the Leader of Ghost’s Clubs business division to support all aspects of sales operations. You will be responsible for preparing offers, performing merchandising tasks, conducting pricing analyses, managing pipeline activities, tracking metrics, and supporting external meeting prep and follow-through. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, is comfortable working with data and systems, has strong communication skills, is detail oriented, and is committed to ensuring the business meets its weekly targets of offer development and pipeline movement.

Key Responsibilities:

Inventory / Opportunity Management

  • Identify and add new opportunities to the sales pipeline based on customer research 
  • Track progress within the pipeline, address any blockers, monitor action items, and prepare opportunities for offer stage
  • Serve as a point of contact for our overseas BPO team (Business Process Outsourcing team) and other internal support teams, answering key questions and checking the output to ensure accuracy and timely delivery 

Offer Preparation

  • Develop a target number of curated offers per week through thoughtful merchandising that takes into account the product assortment, pricing, and availability across competitors
  • Ensure offers are properly qualified for our buyers through analyzing historical purchasing patterns and sales opportunities. Ensure alignment across quantities, pricing, logistics feasibility, and delivery windows
  • Leverage internal databases and desktop research across multiple channels to create a compelling pitch for each potential sales opportunity

Business Tracking & Meeting Support

  • Support both the sales and operations teams by reviewing order accuracy across GMV / revenue, unit counts, shipping timelines, and other metrics
  • Provide a weekly update to the Clubs internal team on any changes, observations, and tasks that are off track
  • Support efforts to prepare for external meetings including conducting research and building presentations
  • Take diligent notes in buyer and supplier meetings, capturing action items and ensuring follow ups across the team
Qualifications
  • 1+ years of experience in sales support, merchandising, product management, or a similar role in retail, wholesale, or marketplace environment (experience in apparel / footwear / beauty a plus)
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail – you’ll be managing offers, pipelines, metrics, and follow-through
  • Solid analytical skills: able to perform basic pricing analyses, interpret inventory / ship date data, and recommend actions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills – able to write compelling product pitches, communicate with suppliers / buyers / BPOs, and prepare presentation decks
  • Comfortable using spreadsheets (Excel or Google Sheets), databases or listing platforms, and CRM or pipeline tracking tools
  • Self-motivated and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-moving environment
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required, depending on experience
  • This role will be onsite 5 days per week in our Los Angeles (Mid-Wilshire) office

Our total compensation for this position can range from $70,000-75,000. The actual amounts may vary based on factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities related to the position.
