The Sales Assistant will process orders, manage retail templates, participate in trade shows, and conduct product seminars, requiring strong communication and organizational skills.
Place Showroom is seeking driven wholesale sales assistant to join our sales team. We’re a full service multi-line wholesale apparel showroom for leading contemporary and emerging brands.
As a representative of Place Showroom, the ideal candidate is outgoing with high energy that thrives in a fast pace work environment. Excellent communication and presentation skills and confident with cold calls and building new relationships. Time management and ability to prioritize tasks timely to achieve deadlines with high volume workload.
Responsibilities
- PO processing from order order entry to shipment tracking
- Complete all retailer templates needed for EDI submission and com copy
- Participate in trade shows and markets throughout the West Coast and support the West Coast Director of Sales
- Participate in product knowledge seminars with Place's brands and on occasion conduct product knowledge seminars at our retailers.
Qualifications & Skills
- Interested in a Sales career
- Proficient in excel
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Performs well under pressure
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to travel as needed
- Salary range: $26-30 commensurate with experience
