The WEX Electronic Trading Sales and Client Relations Specialist is responsible for developing and originating new business opportunities with a primary focus on selling our Order Management System (OMS) and Execution Management Systems (EMS) to buy side trading desks. The ideal candidate has a strong track record selling OMS solutions to institutional clients and will drive OMS adoption, expansion, and cross-selling across the client base.
What You'll Do• Drive new OMS/EMS sales by prospecting, networking, and running the full sales cycle from initial outreach through close• Manage and grow existing client accounts, identifying expansion opportunities to increase seat count and usage• Collaborate with clients, product and sales teams in order to cross-sell and deliver OMS/EMS and other trading solutions• Liaise with the WEX Support group to help resolve client issues• Deliver product demonstrations and lead trials/evaluations for prospective clients• Provide product feedback and development recommendations• Schedule and maintain routine on-site visits• Willingness to travel• Understanding and adherence to compliance and regulatory requirements
What We're Looking For• 5+ years of direct experience selling OMS and/or EMS software• Deep working knowledge of OMS/EMS functionality, including order routing, trade allocation, compliance workflows, and portfolio/position management• Established network of Institutional Buy Side and Sell Side relationships• Proven experience supporting and positioning multi-asset class OMS/EMS software (equities, options, futures) to institutional clients• Fundamental knowledge of FIX connectivity and software architecture• Excellent communication skills and entrepreneurial attitude• Understanding of competitive landscape with the ability to articulate WEX's benefits and differentiators• Series 7, 63, & 55
