Job Summary

Job Description

Job Summary:  The Sales Analyst is responsible to support coordination of the sales planning functions, including and not limited to:  customer forecast review and analysis, customer contract review, SAP analysis and updating as needed, weekly reporting to NCJ for sales revenue forecasting, market trend research and indicators, forecast analysis and preparation focusing on accuracy improvement.  In addition, the Sales Analyst supports to prepare and process orders for parts, monitor stock level based on customer needs, record and coordinate the flow of parts between organizations, prepare invoices to customer.  Works under immediate supervision.

Primarily Job Responsibilities

  • Customer forecast weekly review and analysis of reports

  • Receive releases from customer

  • Summarize releases

  • Check release fluctuation and its reasons

  • Analyze forecast accuracy

  • Assignment of additional responsibilities as needed. Prepare tables for Sales Forecast meeting

  • Sale revenue forecasting

  • Market trend research and analysis / develop forecasting models

  • Support Sales team and create presentation materials to the VP of Sales

  • Develop Projections and Forecasts

  • Assignment of additional responsibilities as needed

  • Research auto industry news and different means of communication to prepare briefing to the sales team, regarding OEMs, Tier Is and competitors competitive information (weekly)

  • Inventory control

  • Forecasting supply and demand to prevent overstocking and running out of stock

  • Submitting purchase details (supplier information and pricing) to Purchasing

  • SAP (material receipt)

  • Tracking shipment from China to warehouse

  • Assignment of additional administrative responsibilities as needed

  • Overdue management

  • Work with Accounting department to get overdue list weekly

  • Set up action plan to close overdue with Accounting team and KAMs.

  • Follow the action plan to check the process of action plan

  • Sales Force database owner

  • Support KAMs for the data update for design win activity

  • Support VP of Sales to prepare Mid Term Sales plan presentation updates.

  • Coordinate with STC Design win team and each reginal SF owner for the data alignment.

  • Assignment of additional responsibilities as needed

Competences required to perform the job (functional and interpersonal skills):

  • Experience working with Microsoft Office

  •  Great communication skills and good working relationship with all associated divisions within the company – diplomacy required in discussions both internal and external

  • Working knowledge of business system necessary to complete aspects of this role

  • Effective projection and forecasting skills ( Volumes and Revenue )

  • Financial acumen

Education and Work Experience:

 BA preferred. Three years’ experience working in an office environment in Sales Experience with Microsoft Office Experience with Salesforce

This position reports to the VP of Sales

Hybrid Position: 3X per week in Troy, MI office
