About the role:

As a member of the Category Stewardship team, this role will be primarily focused on providing analytical support to assist in the development of Liquid I.V. sales and category management initiatives. This position will utilize data to analyze performance, identify insights, and provide recommendations across channels and customers. The Sales Analyst will also be responsible for updating existing reports and sales presentations, as well as innovating where possible. To be successful, the person in this role will need to be a creative self-starter who is detailed orientated with a strong desire to succeed. 

Functions and duties of this role include, but not limited to:

  • Partner closely with the Liquid I.V. Field Sales team to craft and deliver data-focused sales presentations for retail customers across channels 
  • Utilize various data sources to derive insights in support of key Category Stewardship initiatives, such as assortment and shelving optimization 
  • Maintain and continually develop the Category Stewardship data analysis suite, with a focus on automation where applicable 
  • Support the internal Liquid I.V. Sales organization and other internal stakeholders with ad-hoc projects and requests as needed

Qualifications:

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent is preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in sales analytics, category management or consumer insights at a CPG company (or applicable experience)
  • Expertise in synthesizing data to derive insights and provide actionable business recommendations
  • Advanced knowledge of syndicated data and applications such as Circana, Nielsen or SPINS
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience in data automation
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-Starter who is creative, yet has strong analytic skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment

Work Environment:

  • This role is REMOTE. Liquid I.V. strives to support and create a flexible working environment. Travel will be approximately 10% for customer meetings.
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

The compensation band for this position is $77,400 - $116,000 annually. The exact salary is determined by various factors including experience, skills, education, geographic location, internal company equity, and budget. The listed range is applicable only to the annual base salary and does not include additional perks, benefits, or applicable bonus eligibility comprising the total compensation package.
