Shinkei Systems is a vertically integrated seafood robotics and CPG company producing premium “Seremoni Grade” fish through a technology-enabled supply chain. We are looking for a Sales Analyst to support commercial decision-making across retail, food service, and distribution channels.

This role sits at the intersection of sales, operations, and finance, helping turn raw sales data into actionable insights that improve revenue performance, margin, forecasting accuracy, and customer execution.

What You’ll DoSales Performance & Reporting
  • Own weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales reporting across all channels (retail, foodservice, wholesale)

  • Track revenue performance vs. forecast, budget, and prior periods

  • Build dashboards that surface SKU, customer, and channel-level performance

  • Monitor pricing, promotions, and trade spend effectiveness

Forecasting & Demand Insights
  • Support demand forecasting in partnership with Sales, Supply Chain, and Finance

  • Identify demand trends by SKU, seasonality, geography, and customer

  • Flag risks and opportunities in production planning (especially during fishing seasonality cycles)

Margin & Pricing Analysis
  • Analyze gross margin by product, customer, and channel

  • Support pricing strategy with scenario modeling (price changes, promos, volume tiers)

  • Partner with Finance on cost-to-serve and contribution margin analysis

Commercial Decision Support
  • Provide analysis for key account reviews and sales meetings

  • Evaluate customer performance and identify expansion opportunities

  • Support launch planning for new SKUs and retail/foodservice expansion

Data & Systems
  • Improve data quality across ERP, sales systems, and reporting tools

  • Build scalable reporting tools (Excel, BI dashboards, or equivalent systems)

  • Standardize KPI definitions across teams (revenue, yield, margin, DIFOT, etc.)

  • Forecast accuracy improved (month-over-month and seasonally adjusted)

  • Clear visibility into SKU-level margin and profitability

  • Faster weekly sales reporting cycle (reduced manual reporting time)

  • Increased revenue realization vs. forecast

  • Improved pricing and promotional ROI clarity

What We’re Looking ForRequired
  • 2–5 years in sales analytics, FP&A, supply chain analytics, or business intelligence

  • Strong Excel / Google Sheets modeling skills

  • Experience working with large datasets and building dashboards

  • Comfort working cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, and Operations

  • Ability to translate data into clear business recommendations

Preferred
  • Experience in CPG, food, agriculture, seafood, or perishable goods

  • Familiarity with demand planning or inventory-driven businesses

  • Exposure to ERP systems or sales tools (NetSuite, Shopify, Salesforce, etc.)

  • Basic SQL or BI tool experience (Looker, Tableau, Power BI)
