As the Sales Admin & Operations Manager for the Costco account, you will manage daily customer service and administrative operations while supporting the Costco Sales team. You will work closely with Costco buying teams and internal teams including customer service, shipping, production, and trade operations to ensure smooth execution, reliable supply, and strong customer relationships. This is a key role supporting one of the fastest-growing global retailers. You will help drive sales growth, lead operational improvements, and contribute to strategic initiatives.

This position is based at our West Los Angeles office. We work a hybrid schedule with an in-office requirement Monday-Wednesday and the option to work remotely on Thursday and Friday.

Job Description

  • Serve as the main contact for 20+ Costco buying offices, coordinating daily orders, inventory control, and issue resolution.
  • Manage all Costco account administration (US, Canada, Mexico, Japan, Korea, UK, Australia), including item setup, food safety forms, trade agreements, specs, and images.
  • Partner with AVP and RSM to develop and execute joint business plans that drive Costco account growth.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, planning, logistics, marketing, customer service) to execute item launches and supply chain programs.
  • Lead planning and execution of new item launches, marketing campaigns, and promotional demos.
  • Analyze sales data, category trends, and promotional results to identify strategic growth opportunities.
  • Own the creation and distribution of weekly/monthly sales reports, contract balances, accrual tracking, forecasts, and performance scorecards.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date product, pricing, and customer documentation across internal systems.
  • Drive cross-functional projects by managing timelines, deliverables, and approvals to improve sales tools and reporting.
  • Serve as subject matter expert on Costco operational and shipping requirements; troubleshoot plant and customer service issues.
  • Oversee and maintain the Costco Global Share Drive; ensure international teams keep documentation current.
  • Monitor inventory levels and customer deductions, partnering with supply chain and accounting teams to ensure order accuracy and timely payments.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in sales operations, account coordination, or customer-facing roles within the consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry, preferably supporting major retailers (Costco, Kroger, etc.).
  • Strong background in B2B communication, account management, or supply chain coordination between manufacturers and retailers.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders across departments (sales, logistics, operations, etc.).
  • Intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, data analysis); ability to interpret sales and operational data.
  • Experience leading cross-functional projects with a focus on process efficiency and timely execution.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across internal teams and external partners.
  • Customer-first mindset with a proactive, solution-oriented approach to problem-solving.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail; capable of managing complex timelines and documentation.
  • Operational knowledge of order fulfillment, inventory tracking, deduction resolution, and retailer compliance requirements.

Pay Range: $115,000-$130,000 and may include a discretionary bonus. Final compensation will be dependent upon skills & experience.
