You will play an extremely important role for Maersk in the Automotive segment in IBS, helping us achieve our significant growth ambitions. You will help identify and pursue upselling opportunities from our existing Ocean and Logistics customer portfolio, as well as bring similar opportunities from new customers to the table. Key Responsibilities

• As a senior member of the Automotive sales team, build a sound understanding of target customers and the assigned account base, work with these customers to identify pain points with a view of creating effective solutions. Engage in consultative selling across all levels of the customers organization including the C-Suite, for existing as well as target customers. Manage existing large key accounts, and help grow with new ones

• Customer centricity – develop deep insights on customer’s business by understanding their pain points and their supply chain goals to co-create value propositions, based on Maersk’s suite of Ocean and Logistics & Services (L&S) products.

• Design and implement a strategic business plan to expands the customer base and support the growth of your vertical. Operate with a solution-centric approach that allows the organization to further solidify its position as the global integrator of logistics.

• Ensure that opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling are identified based on a deep understanding of the customer’s business model and supply chain needs

• Develop extensive Account level plans outlining the growth opportunities and strategic engagement with these customers with specific initiatives.
• Ensures customer relationship management tools are utilized in the most optimal manner and with high levels of hygiene and accuracy

 

Who we are looking for

• Proven experience in a sales/commercial role within the logistics industry on at least 12-15 years. Expertise in developing effective supply chain solutions for customers.
• Sales & business development experience in the Automotive sector, in the supply chain space, will be preferred.

• Experience in consultative selling to C-suite stakeholders.
• Great relationship building skills and customer orientation.
• Excellent communication, and stakeholder management skills, as well as an ability to be both persuasive and influential.
• Self- motivated and performance driven.

• You should possess enthusiasm, a strong work ethic, high integrity, and a willingness to learn.
• Growth mindset and high change agility – ability to learn new things quickly and can adapt to and champion change with peers and others.
