Position Description:

The Existing Business (EB) – Sales Account Manager will be the cornerstone of our renewals team, responsible for managing, negotiating, and closing renewals and upsells across PAR Punchh’s client portfolio. This role ensures a seamless renewal process and drives revenue growth through uplifts, upsells, and cross-sell opportunities. The ideal candidate is proactive, solution-oriented, and passionate about delivering outstanding customer value while building strong, lasting client relationships.

Position Location: Remote (U.S.-based)

Reports To: Director, Existing Business Sales

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent professional experience.

  • 3–5 years of experience in renewals or sales.

  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding renewal and retention targets.

  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills with business, technology, and marketing executives in mid-market and enterprise accounts.

  • Experience managing a CRM system (Salesforce, or comparable) for contract and pipeline tracking.

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple renewals simultaneously.

  • Familiarity with SaaS pricing models and contract negotiation.

  • Strong understanding of solution-based consultative sales and client lifecycle management.

  • Experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry is a plus.

  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to partner effectively across Customer Success, Sales Engineering, Solution Architects, and Marketing.

  • Strategic thinker with the ability to align renewal tactics to customer goals and market trends.

Unleash Your Potential: What You Will Be Doing and Owning:

  • Lead, manage, and execute the full lifecycle of the renewal process for assigned accounts.

  • Ensure all renewals are completed on time and meet or exceed revenue retention goals.

  • Negotiate renewal terms to optimize contract value while maintaining strong client relationships.

  • Partner with Customer Success to ensure smooth handoffs and alignment on client health, contract terms, and future growth opportunities.

  • Collaborate across teams to highlight Punchh’s value and ensure renewals reflect any product or pricing updates.

  • Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling within the renewal process and proactively.

  • Work with sales engineering, solution architects, and marketing teams to position add-on solutions effectively.

  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of customer contracts, renewals, and key customer data in the CRM.

  • Collaborate with Customer Success to analyze customer usage and performance metrics to develop tailored renewal strategies.

  • Develop and execute regional renewal strategies to achieve or exceed assigned revenue targets.

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform renewal tactics and pricing adjustments.

  • Conduct regular check-ins and renewal discussions with clients, ensuring alignment with their business goals.
