About Get Covered LLC

Get Covered is a dynamic, high-growth disruptor transforming the multifamily housing industry with cutting-edge, technology-enabled insurance solutions. Our platform streamlines compliance and coverage for property owners, managers, and residents alike—offering embedded, white-labeled insurance that protects communities while enhancing NOI.

We're backed by top-tier investors, trusted by national property management firms, and growing fast. This is your opportunity to make a big impact at a company that's redefining how insurance works in real estate.

About the role

  • We’re looking for a hungry, high-energy Sales Account Executive to join our fast-paced team. This role is ideal for someone with a hunter mentality who thrives in outbound prospecting, loves building pipeline, and is laser-focused on closing net-new business. You’ll be responsible for driving adoption of Get Covered’s insurance programs across the multifamily ecosystem—from property managers to ownership groups.

This is a full-cycle sales role with a strong emphasis on self-sourced outbound pipeline generation.

What you'll do

  • Own the entire sales cycle—from outbound prospecting and discovery to demo, proposal, and close
  • Generate leads through cold calling, email outreach, social engagement, and industry networking
  • Qualify prospects to understand their insurance needs and pain points
  • Deliver compelling product presentations tailored to multifamily decision-makers
  • Develop and maintain strong pipeline hygiene using Salesforce, Outreach, and other sales tools
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Customer Success, and Product teams to drive feedback and optimize the buyer journey
  • Consistently exceed activity and revenue targets in a fast-growth environment
  • Represent Get Covered at trade shows and industry events (occasional travel)

Qualifications

  • Experience
  • 1-2 years in SaaS, PropTech, or sales (including SDR/BDR) with a proven track record of hitting/exceeding quota
  • Strong outbound sales experience (cold calling, prospecting, pipeline generation)
  • Experience selling into property management, multifamily ownership groups, or related verticals is a plus
  • Proficiency in CRM and sales engagement tools

Attributes

  • Hunter mindset with grit, drive, and self-motivation
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfort operating autonomously while collaborating with team stakeholders
  • Passion for building strong client relationships and solving real business problems
  • High coachability, curiosity, and a bias for action

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
