At Hightouch, our mission is to help our customers leverage data and AI to grow their businesses. The team is ambitious, impact-driven, efficient — and we believe humility, kindness, and compassion are essential to our success. If you're energized by velocity, obsessed with raising the bar, and want to build alongside people who care deeply about each other and our customers, we'd love to meet you.

About the Role

We’re looking for a Regional Vice President of Sales to lead a team of Enterprise Account Executives within our Central/Texas territory. This is a frontline leadership role: you’ll coach AEs, bring discipline to forecasting and pipeline management, and drive quota attainment and account growth. Your judgment, who you hire, how you develop people, and when you step in, will matter as much as any playbook.

You’ll join an established, high-performing enterprise sales team and help shape its next phase of growth. If you’re a builder who thrives in category creation and cares deeply about developing winning, empathetic, solutions-oriented teams, we’d love to hear from you.

What you’ll do
  • Help your team consistently meet or exceed quota, and build a team of Account Executives known for strong, repeatable performance.

  • Grow and coach an established team of Account Executives, with real latitude over who you hire.

  • Own your team’s forecast using Salesforce, MEDDPICC, and Command of the Message, not just a gut feel for the number.

  • Decide where your AEs need you most: a stuck technical conversation, a rep slipping into underperformance, or a deal that needs executive air cover.

  • Tell the executive team what’s actually happening in the field, including when the plan isn’t working.

  • Partner across Sales, Marketing, Partnerships, Customer Success, Revenue Operations, and Legal, building those relationships before a deal needs them.

  • Run account-based strategy with SDR and Marketing in your territory, rather than only working leads you’re handed.

What we’re looking for

Enterprise sales leadership experience: 5+ years of software sales leadership, including 2+ years leading an Enterprise segment working with customers that have over 1B in ARR.

You’ll also bring evidence that you can:

  • Own the outcome. You have a track record of attracting and hiring strong sales talent, building and motivating teams, growing pipeline, and hitting consistent revenue targets with strong participation across the team.

  • Learn relentlessly. Learn technical concepts and connect them to business value for senior and executive stakeholders.

  • Bring a point of view. Form your own read on a deal or a rep rather than simply reporting status, and speak up when something isn’t working.

  • Create clarity. Use data and tools like Salesforce to manage forecasts and build repeatable processes using methodologies such as MEDDPICC and Command of the Message.

  • Build trust through partnership. Develop strong relationships with partners aligned to our growth strategy. You build those relationships early, make use of the ecosystem, and ask for help before you need it.

  • Adapt and keep moving. Bring urgency and ownership alongside empathy and compassion, especially when the territory, team, or plan changes.

Strong adds: Experience selling to marketing or data buyers, and experience at an early-to-mid-stage company where you helped build the sales playbook.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
