Who We Are

Imprint is reimagining co-branded credit cards & financial products to be smarter, more rewarding, and truly brand-first. We partner with companies like Rakuten, Booking.com, H-E-B, Fetch, and Brooks Brothers to launch modern credit programs that deepen loyalty, unlock savings, and drive growth. Our platform combines advanced payments infrastructure, intelligent underwriting, and seamless UX to help brands offer powerful financial products—without becoming a bank.

Co-branded cards account for over $300 billion in U.S. annual spend—but most are still powered by legacy banks. Imprint is the modern alternative: flexible, tech-forward, and built for today’s consumer. Backed by Kleiner Perkins, Thrive Capital, and Khosla Ventures, we’re building a world-class team to redefine how people pay—and how brands grow. If you want to work fast, solve hard problems, and make a real impact, we’d love to meet you.

Day-to-Day & Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, execution, and evolution of risk strategies across core product initiatives—including fraud, credit, and collections—balancing innovation, scale, and safety.

  • Develop and communicate risk product roadmaps that align with product objectives and broader business strategy.

  • Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Data Science, and Growth teams to integrate risk thinking early into the product development lifecycle and enable high-confidence product launches.

  • Analyze product performance, cardholder and applicant behavior, and emerging risk exposures using advanced data techniques; drive strategic decisions through compelling data storytelling.

  • Build and iterate on observability frameworks and dashboards to monitor product health, inform experimentation, and flag early risk signals.

  • Challenge status quo processes and contribute creative, analytically sound solutions to unlock product growth while maintaining robust risk controls.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Experience: 8+ years in fintech or financial services, with 5+ years in roles centered on risk strategy and/or product enablement.

  • Education: Bachelor's in a quantitative or technical field such as Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, or Computer Science; Master’s preferred.

  • Technical Skills: Advanced SQL proficiency; working knowledge of Python or R; strong grasp of statistical analysis, experimentation design, and business intelligence tools. Experience shaping product strategy with data is a must.

  • Product & Strategy: Demonstrated ability to influence product roadmaps and execute on end-to-end strategic initiatives in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.

  • Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a proven ability to tell stories with data, align stakeholders, and drive decision-making across technical and non-technical teams.

  • Collaboration: High ownership mindset and track record of building trust-based relationships with cross-functional partners to ship bold, high-impact solutions.

  • Competitive compensation and equity packages

  • Leading configured work computers of your choice

  • Flexible paid time off

  • Fully covered, high-quality healthcare, including fully covered dependent coverage

  • Additional health coverage includes access to One Medical and the option to enroll in an FSA

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
