As a Product Owner within the Product Team of Wholesale Credit Risk, you will play a pivotal role in the development and implementation of key Wholesale Credit projects. Your responsibilities will include defining project scope, setting timelines, promoting integration with Technology platforms, ensuring controls are met, and delivering directly to users. You will also collaborate with Wholesale Credit model developers, Tech partners, and business partners, focusing on delivering products to our end users.
Job responsibilities

  • Be responsible for the end-to-end delivery including overseeing the requirements, defining the project scope, model development, testing and delivery; focus will be on the end-to-end analytics infrastructure aspects
  • Play a leadership role in the design, architecture and implementation of the firm's next generation stress and risk analytics platform for Wholesale Credit alongside Technology and the Business
  • Work with technology and the business on the development of its strategic analytics platform as well as support the implementation and integration of models into the firms delivery platforms
  • Understand the technical side of the platforms and partner to design and implement solutions that work well for the group's quantitative models as well as are highly scalable
  • Lead multiple projects
  • Collaborate with experienced modellers and business partners to enhance quantitative as well as business skills


Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills

  • BA/BS in technical or quantitative discipline
  • 3+ years of product owner experience
  • Strong communication skills, both oral/written and ability to effectively present analysis and interact with key stakeholders
  • Ability to perform well under pressure in a demanding environment managing multiple tasks at the same time
  • Strong attention to detail and an excellent work ethic
  • Ability to work proactively and independently as well as in a team environment
  • Strong documentation skills, including writing use cases


Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills

  • Possess a solid understanding of financial products, corporate finance, financial modeling and market dynamics
  • Comfortable working with Technology colleagues and discussing technical designs
  • Previous experience working in financial institutions
