As an RFP & Tenders Manager in the high-tech industry, you will play a crucial role in managing the proposal and tender processes to secure business opportunities and contracts. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful preparation, submission, and follow-up of Request for Proposals (RFPs), tenders, and other competitive bidding opportunities. This role demands strategic thinking, exceptional communication skills, and a deep understanding of the high-tech sector.
About The Role
- Develop and manage the end-to-end RFP and tender response process, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
- Analyze RFP requirements and develop a response strategy, collaborating with relevant teams to tailor responses to client needs.
- Liaise with various departments (e.g., sales, product development, legal, finance) to gather essential information and input for proposals and tenders.
- Foster strong relationships and effective communication across teams to facilitate a cohesive response process.
- Write, edit, and review proposal content to ensure accuracy, consistency, compliance, and alignment with the proposal strategy.
- Conduct thorough reviews and quality checks to ensure proposals meet all RFP requirements and adhere to company standards and guidelines.
- Manage multiple proposal reviews, revisions, and iterations to enhance overall quality and competitiveness.
- Develop strategies for successful bidding, including pricing strategies, risk assessments, and win themes.
- Analyze the outcomes of tenders and proposals to identify strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities for improvement.
- Maintain a centralized repository of proposal templates, boilerplate content, and past responses for easy access and utilization in future submissions.
Requirements
- 6+ years of proven experience in proposal/tender management within the high-tech industry across SAAS Companies.
- Strong understanding of the high-tech market, products, and services.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on persuasive and professional writing.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and proposal management tools.
- Knowledge of relevant proposal management methodologies and best practices.
- Experience with government procurement processes and frameworks (preferred).
- Familiarity with CRM and proposal automation tools (preferred).
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.

For New York City-based hires only: Compensation Range: $125,000-$185,000 base salary, subject to standard withholding and applicable taxes. In addition to base salary, the role includes opportunity to receive and/or earn a discretionary bonus and/or equity based on Company’s plans and in accordance with Company’s policies. Compensation finally awarded to the candidate will be commensurate with the candidate’s skills and experience. Compensation ranges for candidates in locations outside of New York City may differ based on the cost of labor and such additional factors for such other locations.
