Job Summary

The Sr. Technical Professional – Specialty Engineering (RF Engineering Project Specialist) is responsible for leading the planning, coordination, and execution of complex RFID installation projects. This role ensures seamless integration of technical solutions, manages multidisciplinary teams, and maintains high standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Project Planning & Execution: Develop and manage detailed project plans; oversee antenna and network infrastructure installation; coordinate engineering, IT, and field teams.
  • Technical Integration & Problem Solving: Lead troubleshooting efforts to resolve technical challenges during system implementation.
  • Business Development Support: Assist in proposal development by creating bases of estimate, materials, and direct costs.
  • Marketing Collaboration: Contribute to marketing materials that highlight technical capabilities and support business growth.
  • Dispatch Process Execution: Manage personnel and resource deployment for each project phase.
  • Quality Assurance & Team Integrity: Promote system quality and team accountability.
  • Resource Strategy: Define staffing and material strategies to optimize project outcomes.
  • Technical Analysis: Conduct performance validation and recommend engineering improvements.
  • Technical Documentation: Prepare specifications, test plans, and reports to support compliance and project phases.
  • Project Management: Lead or support small-scale projects, ensuring milestone achievement and quality standards.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and resolve technical issues.
  • Technical Knowledge Sharing: Mentor junior team members and foster technical growth.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in RFID, wireless communications, RF systems, RF propagation, or signal processing.
  • Demonstrated expertise in RF engineering and problem-solving.
  • Strong communication skills and experience in technical documentation.
  • Proven ability to work across multidisciplinary teams and lead project planning and integration efforts.
  • US citizenship is a requirement. 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related field.
  • Active U.S. Government issued Secret Security Clearance.
  • PMP or similar project management certification.
  • Previous leadership and research experience in RF systems or specialty engineering.
