As the RevOps AI & Automation Lead at Spreedly, you will join our Revenue Operations team and help us build the next generation of intelligent go-to-market systems. You’ll play a critical role in identifying, designing, and implementing AI-powered workflows and automations that unlock speed, efficiency, and insight across our sales, marketing, and customer success functions.

This is a highly hands-on role for someone who thrives at the intersection of systems, automation, and AI;  someone who can turn a whiteboard idea into a working workflow in a week. You'll partner closely with GTM leaders, data teams, and RevOps teammates to drive real outcomes and bring innovation into the day-to-day execution of our go-to-market motion.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement intelligent, scalable automations across GTM workflows using tools like Make, Zapier, Workato, or Tray.io.
  • Own AI-first enhancements to lead routing, territory assignment, enrichment, scoring, and follow-up workflows.
  • Build and maintain automations between core systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, Apollo, Qualified, Gong, Intercom, Apollo, Zendesk, etc.).
  • Deploy and operationalize AI-native tools (e.g., OpenAI, LangChain, Gong, Qualified, Intercom, Apollo, etc.) to support GTM initiatives.
  • Build AI-driven capabilities like predictive lead scoring models, intent-based segmentation, copilots for sales or CS (e.g., smart summaries, call analysis, follow-up writing)
  • Prototype AI-based workflows or agents using low-code platforms or custom API integrations.
  • Partner with data teams to connect AI workflows with core GTM data sources.
  • Run experiments to test and measure impact of AI and automation on funnel performance and team efficiency.
  • Build dashboards and reports on usage and ROI of AI initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Sales Ops, Marketing Ops, and Customer Success Ops to identify bottlenecks and high-impact opportunities.
  • Train and enable GTM teams on new tools and workflows.
  • Support vendor evaluation and management for AI and automation platforms.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years in Revenue Operations, Business Systems, GTM Automation, or a related technical operations role.
  • Deep experience with GTM platforms (Salesforce, Pardot, Qualified, Apollo, Gainsight, etc.).
  • Strong hands-on experience with automation tools (Zapier, Make, Tray.io, Workato, n8n, or similar).
  • Familiarity with AI tools and platforms (OpenAI/GPT/Gemini, Gong, Qualified, Clay, Intercom, Drift, LangChain, etc.).
  • Ability to write and iterate on prompts, build light prototypes, and integrate APIs.
  • Strong project management and prioritization skills; able to manage multiple initiatives in parallel.
  • Analytical mindset;  comfortable using data to measure success and iterate quickly.

Additional Skills We Value:

  • Experience with Python or SQL
  • Experience working directly with ML models or vector databases

We Offer US-based Employees:

  • Competitive salary + Equity
  • Outstanding Medical and Dental benefits, including 100% employer-paid options
  • Company-paid Life and Disability insurance
  • Optional vision and supplemental insurance options, and various Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA)
  • Open Paid Time Off policy + 12 weeks of paid leave for new parents
  • Matching 401(k) plan (5% up to $5,000 yearly)
  • $1,000 annual professional development stipend
  • Monthly home working/digital lifestyle stipend, new MacBook, and one-time accessory reimbursement
  • Access to company-paid professional coaching service
  • Visits to HQ in Durham, North Carolina for remote employees

We champion the ethical, creative use of AI—if you’re someone who pairs human judgment with modern AI tools to work smarter and drive bigger impact, you’ll thrive here.

Spreedly is an equal opportunity employer. We are committed to fostering, cultivating, and preserving a culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging. We actively work to drive out even unintentional discrimination in our hiring processes via practices like blindly graded work samples, structured interviews, and diversity awareness training.

Due to the sensitive nature of what Spreedly does - handling payment data - finalist candidates must complete a successful background and reference check.

At this time Spreedly is unable to provide sponsorship for employment, and we are not set up to support remote employees who reside in California or New York. In order to be considered for employment, applicants must be currently legally authorized to work in the job location country and not require future sponsorship in order to continue working in that country.

We appreciate your interest in our company. Because of the high volume of resume flow, we may only respond to those candidates that we think will be a potential fit.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
