Your Impact

The Review Manager works side-by-side with clients and our team of attorneys to leverage DISCO AI for the purpose of document review. They provide insight and perspective to improve client outcomes and increase the speed and quality of their eDiscovery experience. They create the optimal alignment of features and workflows within the context of case-specific constraints, including leveraging well-established best practices, to drive exceptional outcomes. Review Managers possess in-depth knowledge of traditional legal review management, a desire to help our clients - and the greater industry - evolves and innovates this work.

What You'll Do
  • Project Management: Acts as the point of contact for clients during DISCO Managed Review projects. Manages teams of reviewers and provides necessary feedback and guidance to ensure speed and accuracy. Manages multiple fast-moving projects at a given time. Adapts work schedule to support global client engagements in various time zones. 
  • Review Process Design and Quality Control: Structures review workflows, including QC workflows, based on the needs of individual review projects. Optimizes and tailors managed review workflows based on project need. Designs review and quality control workflows and carries out some QC responsibilities. Implements custom workflows in conjunction with our AI lab to reduce client costs and enhance speed-to-evidence for clients. 
  • Training and Development: Guides the team and trains junior colleagues to foster a collaborative team environment and identifies and solves potential problems that could cause issues for clients or reviewers. Shows keen interest in training and talent development, including mentoring new Team Leads, QC personnel, and first-line reviewers. Fosters a strong, inclusive team environment and culture, where questions are encouraged and diversity is celebrated.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Creates and refines DISCO standard documentation, including review protocols, status reports, training guides and review workflows; contributes to department initiatives / standardized documentation regarding the same. Reports on key project metrics to the broader Review team. Actively tracks and suggests improvements on operational parameters (including cost, efficiency, and quality metrics). 
  • Client Interaction and Feedback Integration: Works closely with clients to understand how cutting-edge tech is applied to document review to achieve exceptional review results. Collaborates closely with product and engineering teams by providing feedback and feature requests. Showcases excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Who You Are
  • Juris Doctor, please note you must maintain an active law license and be in good standing with the bar association of the jurisdiction in which you reside
  • 4+ years of document review management experience at an eDiscovery / managed review or alternative legal services provider, in-house e-discovery review function, or consulting firm.
  • Strong understanding of AI capabilities and applications 
  • Skilled at the use of at least one industry-leading review platform, like DISCO, Relativity, Everlaw, Axcelerate, etc.
  • Adapt work schedule to support global client engagements in various time zones.

Authorization to Work in the U.S.: Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future. DISCO is not currently sponsoring visas, including, but not limited to, H-1B, TN, or EAD, and we are not accepting visa transfers.
