Koyfin is a fast growing fintech company building a powerful, intuitive analytics platform used by financial advisors and individual investors to research ideas, manage portfolios, and grow their businesses. We believe every investor deserves world-class research tools without the complexity or price tag of legacy platforms.

Our impact so far:
🚀 One of the fastest-growing platforms for financial advisors, driven by product-led growth
🥇 Recognized by users as a top-rated investment solution on G2
🏆 Rated as the top research platform for user satisfaction in the Kitces survey, the largest survey in the advisor industry

Reporting to the Head of Sales, this is a from-scratch build. Koyfin has over 60,000 financial advisors using the platform, and over 800,000 registered users. Koyfin is standing up a Revenue Operations function for the first time to help the sales team improve the sales assist motion to the existing registered users. You’ll be working directly with the Head of Sales to build the systems, data, and messaging infrastructure the rest of the org runs on. We are looking for someone to support existing AEs, newly hired SDRs and the Head of Sales to run tests, build reporting and create efficiently run motions to reach out aggressive goals.

This is a builder role, not a maintainer role. You'll be defining: a funnel, a lead-scoring model, a reporting layer, an outbound message library that does not yet exist, in a company that runs lean and expects you to own outcomes.

What you'll own

CRM, systems & data (foundational)

  • Full ownership of HubSpot: administration, integrations, and data quality

  • Own and expand enrichment for new registrants and existing users

  • Define and document the funnel from lead to deal created, including the lead-scoring model

Reporting & analytics

  • Build the dashboards, reporting, and forecasting infrastructure the org uses to judge whether a motion is working

  • Own test-validation tooling for time-boxed motion tests

Outbound messaging

  • Create and iterate all prospect-facing messaging across email and LinkedIn, working in tandem with the SDRs on targeting and sequencing

  • Own message performance (reply rates, positive-reply definition) as an input to the funnel data above

Partnership & process

  • Work alongside AEs and SDRs day to day to identify what’s working, iterate and improve

What we're looking for

  • 5–8+ years in Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, or GTM analytics

  • Deep, hands-on HubSpot experience (admin-level) or equivalent depth in a comparable CRM; comfortable owning integrations and data architecture, not just reporting on top of them (there is a full engineering team available on an as-needed basis)

  • Strong analytical skills with ability to build funnel definitions, lead-scoring models, and forecasting from scratch, without a data team behind you

  • Experience writing and iterating outbound sales copy (email and LinkedIn), or directly overseeing it, since this role owns messaging end to end here, not just the systems around it

  • Comfortable in ambiguity: this is a two-person function (you and the Head of Sales) inside a five-person sales org, and you'll be setting definitions and processes that don't currently exist

  • Fintech, financial data, or advisor-facing SaaS experience a plus, not required

Why Join Koyfin

  • Competitive Compensation: Enjoy a competitive salary, equity options, and a comprehensive benefits package.

  • Innovative Environment: Be part of a fast-growing company at the forefront of financial technology, moving quickly to release new products.

  • Dynamic Culture: Customer First, Humility & Respect, Teamwork, Continuous Improvement, and Getting Things Done.

  • Impactful Work: Work with a small, talented team where your contributions directly impact the product and the community it serves.

  • Industry-Leading Product: Join a company with an industry-leading product that is disrupting the financial analytics space through a product-led growth sales motion.

  • Efficiency and Growth: Join a company that values efficiency, sustainable growth, and operational excellence. Koyfin is cash flow positive and emphasizes doing more with less.

At Koyfin, impact comes with responsibility. We expect independent thinking, sound judgment, and ownership of outcomes. We value clear communication, intellectual honesty, and continuous improvement. You’ll be trusted to make decisions, contribute thoughtfully, and raise the standard of the work around you.

Our hiring process is thoughtful and efficient, typically including an HR conversation, role-specific interviews, and a final discussion with leadership.

Koyfin is an equal opportunity employer committed to building a diverse and inclusive team.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
