Copia Automation

Copia is the fastest growing provider of industrial cyber resilience software. Our tools allow industrial organizations to get their automation assets back up and running after cyber attacks and other downtime incidents. For some companies, a quick recovery means preventing millions of dollars in losses. For other companies, like electrical grid operators, it means saving lives.

We are a 60 person software company growing revenue more than 2x year over year. Our customers include some of the largest manufacturers, warehouse operators, data center operators, and utilities in the U.S. and Europe. The problem we solve is a real one, and that is a large part of why people join us and stay.

 Revenue Operations Lead

We are looking for our founding Revenue Operations hire to architect the operational foundation for our go-to-market motion. You'll create essential operational processes, become the trusted decision-support advisor for Sales leadership, start new governance initiatives, build AI-powered workflows, and more.

This role will collaborate on a near-daily basis with executive team members across every department. Your primary customers will be Sales leadership, and report directly to the Head of BizOps. As a member of the BizOps team, you will collaborate closely with AI and data science experts to design and deploy scalable, intelligent, automated solutions to RevOps problems.

What makes us most excited about this role is the unprecedented velocity of change affecting operations brought on by AI technology, and the opportunity for this hire to implement systems that were previously confined only to their dreams. We’re looking for somebody who is internally motivated to push the boundaries of what’s possible!

Responsibilities

Become a trusted advisor to Sales leadership.

  • Partner with Sales leadership to drive revenue by surfacing what's working, what isn't, and what to change.

  • Perform essential analyses like territory sizing, quota attainment, weighted pipeline, and forecasting.

  • Own end-of-quarter reporting and build board-quality slides and explanations of our key results.

  • Design and implement processes that scale.

  • Own HubSpot and our GTM tool stack: review every structural CRM change, and account for downstream impacts.

  • Design, build, and own key operational processes, such as deal desk, approvals, and quote-to-cash.

  • Identify and fix bottlenecks in our funnel, including lead routing, qualification, conversions.

  • Collaborate with our customer experience team to redesign our renewal and expansion pipelines.

  • Enable AEs with AI.

  • Show our Sales teams how to use AI to generate polished, on-brand assets that exceed the quality bar of hand-crafted work.

  • Build AI workflows to generate custom customer-facing assets and AE enablement and training materials.

  • Implement new intent signal pipelines using Clay, and use AI tools to automatically turn those signals into engaging outreach.

Qualifications

    Required

  • 5+ years of experience in a RevOps, sales operations, or GTM systems engineering role at a B2B software company

  • 3+ years of experience as a primary HubSpot admin of an organization

  • 3+ years of experience building and maintaining large, complex workflows in tools like HubSpot, Clay, or Zapier

  • 1+ years of experience using LLM coding agents to produce repeatable, high-quality outputs

  • The ability to perform key RevOps analyses end-to-end, from pulling and cleaning CRM data to distilling insights into beautiful slides

  • Preferred

  • Experience working with sales teams targeting buyers in industrial automation or cybersecurity

  • Experience operationalizing Account Based Marketing strategies

  • Experience using a scripting language and APIs to create automated workflows

Reasons to Apply

  • You're an operations expert looking for the opportunity to expand your AI and scripting skills.
  • You want to be part of a high-achieving team whose members inspire you to reach new heights.
  • You want to be the first hire in a new function at a fast-growing startup.
  • You want to work at a company that's solving a real problem.
  • You want to have as direct an impact as possible.
  • Copia's company values resonate with you.

Come join us!

Copia is growing extraordinarily fast. Join a best-in-class start-up with huge amounts of upside and impact. Our headquarters is in New York, but our team is remote throughout North America.

At Copia, we don’t just accept differences — we celebrate them, we support them, and we thrive on them for the benefit of our employees, our customers, and our community. We are committed to building a team that represents a variety of backgrounds, perspectives, and skills. If you’re good at what you do, come as you are. What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
