The Team
The Ops & Analytics team at Apploi is the engine that pushes our business forward and the connective tissue working to share knowledge and drive people towards a common goal. Our team works across sales, marketing, customer success, finance, analytics, product, and partnerships to unlock growth and revenue. We lead and launch new initiatives/products, build and automate the tools and processes that enable our teams to scale their work 10x, analyze and democratize data across the org to optimize business performance, and ensure our teams are consistently aligned, innovating and executing.
If these questions intrigue you, then you might be a good fit to join us!
  • What's our average time-to-close across various customer segments and can we speed that up? What's the conversion rate of our marketing channels? How long is our typical onboarding period and time-to-value? What does retention and churn look like for various cohorts? Are we seeing spikes for certain churn reasons?

What You'll Do
As a RevOps Analyst, you'll work directly with cross-functional teams to uncover opportunities, automate reporting, and inform go-to-market strategy with data. This is a high-visibility, high-impact role perfect for someone early in their career who wants to grow fast and learn how revenue teams scale.
Your responsibilities will include:
  • Designing and maintaining dashboards and visualizations that drive decision-making across revenue teams.
  • Analyzing funnel metrics, pipeline health, conversion rates, and customer retention trends.
  • Collaborating with GTM leaders to improve forecasting, reporting, and operational efficiency.
  • Turning open-ended questions into structured analysis and clear recommendations.
  • Owning Salesforce and HubSpot data structures to ensure clean, consistent reporting.

Example Projects You Might Work On
  • Analyzing channel-level conversion rates to optimize spend.
  • Identifying trends in onboarding duration and time-to-value.
  • Highlighting key drivers of churn and retention by cohort.

What We're Looking For
You don't need a traditional background in RevOps-we're looking for smart, curious people who can solve problems with data.
Ideal candidates have:
  • 1-3 years of experience in analytics, operations, or business roles
  • Passion for go-to-market strategy, growth, and helping teams scale.
  • Proficiency with Excel and SQL
  • Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, PowerBI, Sisense, or Sigma.
  • Strong communication skills-you can explain complex topics simply.
  • A bias for action-you take initiative, ask good questions, and follow through.

Bonus Points For:
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce, HubSpot, or other CRM/marketing tools.
  • Familiarity with SaaS metrics and business models.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
