Overview:  

Pacvue is seeking a summer hire to support the Revenue Operations by identifying areas of improvement across Sales Pipeline and different data models in Salesforce (CRM). The summer hire will work closely with Sales, Business Systems, and Revenue Operations. The pillars of focus will be Data & Pipeline hygiene.  

 

Project Scope:

1. Opportunity & Account Object Field/Layout Clean-up 

Objective: Audit and streamline the fields and layout on Opportunity and Account objects to improve usability, data entry, and reporting accuracy. 

Scope: 

  • Inventory all current fields on Opportunity and Account objects. 
  • Identify: 
  • Redundant or unused fields. 
  • Fields with poor data hygiene or low fill rates. 
  • Inconsistent naming or formatting. 
  • Interview stakeholders (Sales, CS, RevOps) to understand what fields are actually useful. 
  • Propose a revised layout optimized for rep workflows. 
  • Work with Salesforce Admins (or equivalent) to mock up new layouts in a sandbox. 
  • Create a clean-up and change management plan 


2. Opportunity Risk & Recovery 

Objective: Develop a framework to proactively flag at-risk deals in the pipeline and recommend strategies to unblock or recover them. 

Scope: 

  • Define what makes an Opportunity “at risk” (e.g., no activity in X days, stuck in stage, no decision-maker, closing soon with low engagement). 
  • Build a scoring or flagging system using CRM data. 
  • Analyze historical lost opps to validate red flag criteria. 
  • Create a dashboard or report of current at-risk opps. 
  • Interview sales reps to understand common blockers. 
  • Develop a recovery playbook that maps risks to specific mitigation plays (e.g., exec involvement, value re-articulation, new stakeholder contact).

Deliverables/Milestones: 

  • Serve Business Systems/Revenue Operations a detailed analysis of data points to keep, remove, enhance 
  • Create a repeatable process on improving and unblocking pipeline  

 

Learning Objectives: 

  • Salesforce (CRM) experience, Understanding of Enterprise Sales Process, Data Hygiene / Models, Project Management


This is an hourly contract role intended for college students as a summer internship. The role will start in May and pays $20 per hour, 35 hours per week for approximately 2 months
