First, What We’re Actually Doing

Suger helps revenue teams sell more effectively by simplifying the workflows required to buy and sell through cloud marketplaces. We make it easier for our customers to transact, manage, and grow deals across AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Alibaba, Oracle and Snowflake, creating a smoother buying experience for their customers. We’ve grown quickly by becoming the end-to-end orchestration system for the fastest growing sales channel (B2B Cloud Marketplaces) leveraging AI and integrations with core systems.

Today, we’re working ~300 amazing customers, ranging from enterprises like Snowflake, Workday, Intel to the top AI-native companies like the main AI labs, Decagon, Glean, etc.

We are looking for a Revenue Operations & AI Systems Manager to help run and scale our revenue organization in a new way.
This is not a traditional RevOps role focused on Salesforce dashboards, territory hygiene, or pipeline reporting. We need someone with deep experience across revenue strategy, finance, GTM operations, and AI systems, and the ability to use those skills to build the operating layer for a modern revenue org.

Why this role?

Revenue organizations are changing. The best RevOps leaders of the next decade will not just maintain CRM systems. They will build the operating systems that determine how companies sell, retain, expand, and forecast.

This role is for someone who wants to build that future.

You will report to the CEO, execute on high priority projects, attend board meetings, etc. At the core, you’ll work closely with him and GTM leadership to build the future of revenue operations. There will never be a dull day and you’ll learn a ton with a collaborative team that also likes to have a fun time. The default answer is “you should try” not “just go build me some salesforce dashboards.”

What You’ll Own (for real)

  • Own revenue operations across sales, partnerships, customer success, and finance-facing GTM workflows.
  • Build systems that help the revenue team operate faster and make better decisions, including agents, workflows, skills, and automations.
  • Translate business problems into operational systems across forecasting, account prioritization, renewal tracking, pipeline risk, customer expansion, and sales execution.
  • Partner with FP&A and accounting to connect revenue performance, bookings, ARR, retention, cash impact, and planning.
  • Create lightweight processes that improve decision-making without unnecessary bureaucracy.
  • Focus on building systems that drive action, not reporting for reporting’s sake.

Who We’re Looking For

To be blunt, you are either:

An operator with an insane work ethic who has experience building internal systems for GTM teams at a high-growth B2B SaaS company. Not just buying tools and implementing them, but actually building the systems yourself.

    OR

A former technical investment banker, management consultant with strong analytical horsepower and a technical background who is excited to take on a difficult challenge.

You Should Have

  • Hands-on experience building with AI tools, agents, workflows, GPTs, skills, and automation platforms.
  • Strong understanding of SaaS metrics including ARR, bookings, pipeline, NRR, GRR, churn, expansion, CAC, payback, and sales efficiency.
  • Experience in RevOps, strategic finance, FP&A, consulting, business operations, or another highly analytical role.
  • Comfort working through ambiguous business problems and turning them into working systems.
  • High agency, low ego, and a builder mindset.
  • We care far more about your ability to build practical systems than whether you know how to configure Zapier workflows. We still use tools like Zapier when useful, but they are not the core system.

You should either already understand, or be highly motivated to learn, how modern AI systems work in practice: prompts, context management, memory, tool use, evals, handoffs, and workflow design.

First 90 days look like

    First 30 days

  • Understand our data structure and improve reporting across the revenue organization.

  • Work directly with the CEO on the company operating model.

  • Next 30 days

  • Work directly with the CEO to identify bottlenecks in existing workflows and automate them one by one.

  • Beyond

  • Continue partnering with the CEO and GTM leadership on the company’s highest-priority operational initiatives.

  • There is no ramp time in this role. You’ll be thrown directly into high-priority problems, including late-night brainstorming sessions with leadership and executing during the day.

    What this role is not

  • This is not a Salesforce admin role.
  • This is not a dashboard-only RevOps role.
  • This is not a purely finance role.
  • This is not a theoretical AI strategy role.

Why Join Us

  • The salary for this role is $120,000–$200,000/year, depending on experience, market location, and overall fit for the role.
  • Competitive salary, comprehensive health insurance, monthly office stipends, meaningful equity plan, benefits, etc.
  • Our mission is to bring a consumer experience to B2B sales.
  • We are a team of ~60 people with hubs in SF and Vancouver.
  • Top-notch team - You'll work with an awesome bought-in team, who have both built large-scale enterprise SaaS products at top companies (e.g. Google, Meta, Salesforce, Confluent), and high-growth startups (e.g. Workstream, Motive, Square).
  • Well-funded / long runway
  • We are a fast-moving flat org and avoid hierarchical structures.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
