Position Overview

The Revenue Management Lead sits within the Commercial Finance & Analytics team, partnering with Sales, Marketing, Operations and Finance to help the business make better commercial decisions through data, analysis and strategic thinking.

You will own the Revenue Management agenda for the Shop-at-Home business, identifying opportunities to accelerate growth, improve profitability and strengthen commercial decision-making. From pricing and discount strategy to conversion performance, customer behavior and marketing effectiveness, you will turn data into practical recommendations that drive measurable business impact.

This is a highly cross-functional role. Success comes from understanding how the business operates, asking the right questions and influencing decisions through insight rather than authority.

You will report to the Head of Commercial Finance & Analytics and work closely with senior leaders across Sales, Marketing, Operations and Finance.

What you'll do

Commercial Performance

  • Identify opportunities to improve revenue, gross margin and profitability across the business.
  • Analyze pricing, discounting, product mix, conversion, customer behavior and commercial performance to uncover actionable opportunities.
  • Develop recommendations that balance growth, profitability and customer experience.

 Business Partnership

  • Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Operations and Finance to evaluate initiatives, challenge assumptions and support better decision-making.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor by providing data-driven insights that inform commercial strategy and prioritization.

Insights & Analytics

  • Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights that support business decisions.
  • Develop analyses that answer critical business questions and identify opportunities for growth and operational improvement.

Reporting & Performance Visibility

  • Own key commercial reporting and performance dashboards, continuously improving the quality, accessibility and relevance of business insights.
  • Automate recurring analyses where appropriate, allowing more time to focus on high-value commercial work.

How You Work

  • You are naturally curious and enjoy solving complex commercial problems.
  • You communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences, tailoring your approach to the stakeholder.
  • You balance analytical rigor with pragmatism, knowing when deeper analysis creates value and when speed matters.
  • You build strong cross-functional relationships and influence through credibility, insight and collaboration rather than authority.
  • You embrace AI as part of your everyday toolkit, continuously exploring new ways to improve efficiency, deepen analysis and increase business impact.

 What This Role Offers

  • This is a high-visibility role with direct exposure to senior leadership and meaningful influence over how the business grows. You will work on some of the company's most important commercial decisions, helping shape pricing, profitability, customer acquisition and overall business performance.
  • For the right candidate, this is an opportunity to develop broad commercial expertise, build strong executive relationships and grow into a broader commercial finance or analytics leadership role as the function evolves.

Who you are

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Economics, Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Analytics or a related field (MBA or advanced degree is a plus).
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in Revenue Management, Commercial Finance, Pricing, Strategy, Business Analytics, Consulting, Investment Banking or a related commercial function.
  • Experience in a consumer-facing, retail, direct-to-consumer, home services or similarly commercial environment preferred.
  • Demonstrated success influencing cross-functional business decisions through data, analysis and commercial insight.
  • Experience partnering with leaders across Sales, Marketing, Operations and Finance.
  • Advanced Excel skills with experience using BI tools and large datasets. SQL and Python are a plus but not required.
  • Experience leveraging AI-enabled tools and modern analytics platforms to improve productivity, accelerate analysis and improve business decision-making.

What's in it for you?

  • Annual base salary range: $122,000 - $165,000
  • Bonus target range: 25 - 35%
  • Generous benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life, disability
  • A company culture that prioritizes internal development and professional growth
  • Time off with pay
  • 401(k) plan with a degree of employer matching
  • Paid parental leave
  • Wellness programs and product discounts

Please note, all offers presented to candidates are carefully crafted to ensure market competitiveness, equity, and reflect the individual candidate’s education, experience, skills and potential.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
