Manage retention strategy and execution for 1-2 accounts while handling copywriting and project management for 5-6 additional pod accounts. Lead client calls and business reviews, analyze data and reports, translate insights into action, and maintain status tracking, approvals, and sequencing. Grow into full strategic ownership and revenue generation.

We're one of the fastest-growing Shopify Retention Agencies in the space, and the brands we work with love us for it. Our team is small, sharp, and obsessed with turning one-time buyers into loyal customers — and we're looking for someone ready to own more than just their own accounts.

Your mission: write the copy and run the project management for the 5-6 pod accounts owned by your Senior Retention Manager, while owning the day-to-day retention strategy for your own 1-2 accounts. Turning consistent delivery and confident account management into revenue, as you grow into full strategic ownership.

What you'll do:

  1. Own copywriting for the 5-6 pod accounts owned by your Senior Retention Manager based on the strategy they set

  2. Support project management across those accounts: status tracking, sending/chasing approvals, and day-to-day sequencing

  3. Own the retention roadmap & strategy for your own 1-2 accounts

  4. Lead client calls and business reviews on your own accounts, review data/reports, turn findings into concrete next steps

What we're looking for (non negotiable):

  1. 2+ years hands-on Klaviyo experience

  2. Comfortable owning a client relationship end-to-end - no senior chasing you for updates

  3. Strong copywriter who needs minimal guidance to nail brand voice

  4. Confident interpreting data yourself and translating it into next steps, not just reporting it upward

  5. Agency background or 8fig+ DTC brand experience

What you'll get:

  1. Competitive salary

  2. Generous paid time off

  3. Fully remote - work from wherever you do your best work

  4. Clear growth path into Senior Retention Manager

  5. Access to all tools, data, courses and coaches you need for being successful

  6. Direct access to founders of the fastest growing e-commerce brands worldwide

This is for you if:

  • You want real ownership over your own accounts, with support when strategy gets tricky

  • You take pride in copy and project management that never lets anything slip

  • You're ready to be trusted with more responsibility than a typical mid-level role

This is not for you if:

  • You want to hand off copy and PM work to someone else and focus only on strategy

  • You need constant hand-holding

Speak soon ❤️ 🔥

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
