Job Duties and Responsibilities
As a Retail Account Manager, you will manage medium to large regional and national retailers. Our goal is to build healthy and profitable dealers that align with the company goals and objectives. The Retail Account Manager builds relationships with dealer principals in order to improve overall dealership performance and acts as a liaison to coordinate efforts between the local field team, cross-functional teams, DDP's, and the dealer principal.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Provides in depth P&L and business reviews with dealer partners to maximize health and profitability
  • Develops sales strategies in order to improve performance and mitigate negative selling behaviors
  • Consults with partner on improving organizational structure and operational efficiencies including staffing, compensation and inventory management
  • Manages the overall distribution plan for the dealership to optimize trade areas for the benefit of all stakeholders
  • Provides analysis of sales reporting to identify areas of opportunity and creates action plans for improvement
  • Develops quarterly marketing plans at the dealership level and coordinates with the local team to support at the door level
  • Provides support and resources for escalations of system, network, and compensation issues by working with other internal departments on the dealer's behalf
  • Consistently achieves quota and revenue targets and accurately prepares sales forecasts and weekly activity reports
  • Works closely with cross-functional teams to provide timely feedback on new product launches and offerings and facilitates trials in the strategic account locations


Skills, Experience and Requirements
Skills and Qualifications:

  • Must have a valid driver's license, three consecutive years of active driving history, successfully complete driver's safety training, and otherwise comply with DISH's Driver Safety Policy and guidelines
  • Must adapt well to change and enjoy working in a fast paced sales environment
  • Be available to quickly formulate and provide solutions for escalations that arise during retail business hours
  • Exhibit excellent time management skills and ability to balance multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Ability to provide sales and marketing counseling to owners and sales representatives
  • Must demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be able to work well individually and as a member of a team


Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree and 4+ years related work experience
  • 3+ years direct or indirect retail channel experience
  • 3+ years account management experience


Salary Ranges
Compensation: $99,590.00/Year - $142,313.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
