In this role you will be making a difference by:
- Providing oversight to the respite program on weekends, leading staff and providing directions.
- Assisting with personal care as needed.
- Cooking and light cleaning.
- Providing constant supervision.
- Administering medications
- Transporting individuals to and from community events.
- *This position does require you to work with individuals who need help with personal cares, have behaviors, and requires you to be available for last-minute schedule changes.
To be considered for this role you must:
- Carry a valid driver’s license, proof of valid insurance, and have daily access to a reliable vehicle.
- Hold an acceptable driving record.
- Possess strong English communication skills.
- Be able to participate in water activities (pool, waterslides, hot tub, etc.)
- Be able to pass a DHS and nationwide criminal background check.
- Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
