About the Role

Abramson Labor Group is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Resolution Paralegal to support our Litigation Department. This role works directly with an associate attorney to manage case resolution efforts, including demand writing, mediation coordination, and case documentation. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who is comfortable taking initiative, asking questions, and following directions closely while managing multiple moving pieces in a fast-paced litigation environment.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Work directly with an associate attorney to support case resolution and litigation strategy 

Monitor and manage email correspondence related to active cases 

Assist in scheduling mediations and coordinating related logistics 

Draft demand letters and settlement demands 

Prepare legal memoranda and case summaries 

Perform damages calculations to support demands 

Track case status and deadlines to ensure timely follow-through 

Communicate case updates clearly with attorneys and internal team members 

Follow instructions accurately and escalate questions or clarifications as needed

Qualifications

Experience in a litigation or paralegal support role preferred

Comfortable and confident with demand letter writing

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Highly organized with excellent attention to detail

Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines

Proactive communicator — asks clarifying questions rather than guessing 

Strong follow-through on instructions and assigned tasks

Familiarity with mediation scheduling and case management processes a plus

Someone comfortable with numbers and calculations related to demands and settlements 

A dependable communicator who keeps stakeholders informed and asks questions when needed
