As a Vice President, adaptability is crucial, as it involves the ability to quickly adjust to changing priorities and tight deadlines. Problem-solving skills are essential for identifying challenges and helping the team develop solutions for technology and production-based issues. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary to convey complex information clearly and concisely to stakeholders at all levels. Exceptional organizational skills are required to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail. • Analyze performance against the project plan and make adjustments consistent with objectives.
  • Collaborate effectively with both the RRFA Capital and RRFA Liquidity teams to align on goals and requirements and to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Organize and lead weekly discussions with LOBs and functional team stakeholders to ensure timely completion of deliverables.
  • Manage relationships with stakeholders through proactive communication, coordinating with LOB Program Managers on deliverables and timelines, and tracking overall timeliness.
  • Identify risks, flag issues, escalate delays related to systems, processes, or internal/external stakeholders (including legal entity controllers, treasury, tax, IT, etc.) to minimize adverse impacts. Establish contingency plans as required.
  • Establish and/or maintain governance processes for SME reviews and attestation processes, including efficient issue tracking and resolution.
  • Develop an understanding of capital and liquidity processes to ensure effectiveness of controls and enhance Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) where applicable.
  • Assist in key business governance activities for RRFA, including managing policies/standards/procedures and business resiliency plans.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:
  • 5-7 years of experience in using formal project management methodology, techniques, and tools.
  • Self-starter with demonstrated expertise in delivering large programs within a matrixed organization.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize across multiple projects and to multi-task across varying priorities.
  • Competency in the overall project management process including planning tasks, allocating resources, risk mitigation, issues management, change management, working in teams, status monitoring and reporting, documentation and record keeping.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with experience communicating across cross-functional groups.
  • Ability to think creatively with a problem-solving mindset.
  • Drive and adherence to deadlines, with the ability to deliver in a timely manner.
  • Bachelors' degree is required.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
