Your future team We are looking for a UX Researcher to join a team of mixed methods researchers in our Research & Insights team. You will partner with other teams and across the company to drive efficient, insights informed decision making, identifying critical opportunities for improving the customer and user experience for our key products and delivering business success. Joining this team means you will contribute to expanding our over 250,000 customer base in 190 countries, having direct impact for tens of thousands of customers and millions of users!

To support this goal, the baseline of our range is higher than that of the typical market range, but in turn we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline. Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, or experience. In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:
Zone A: $130,500 - $174,000
Zone B: $117,500 - $156,600
Zone C: $108,300 - $144,400
This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.

What You'll Do
- Work as part of a strategic research practice, balancing speed and quality as you conduct generative and evaluative research
- Partner with product managers, design, data science, brand, engineering and other teams to influence product and design direction
- Communicate research insights in credible, creative ways to help teams understand the needs of our customers and make data-informed experience decisions
- Bring the perspective and needs of the team to other strategic research programs
- Promote the research craft and develop our research practices across Atlassian.
Your background
- You will bring 2+ years hands-on experience designing and conducting user experience research in complex and/or enterprise-level software environments
- You will have expertise in applying qualitative and quantitative research methods to business problems, impacting both product direction and experience design.
- You will have experience in experimentation, data analysis, and insights generation
- You will be a compelling storyteller with strategies to drive engagement with insights and analyses
- You will have experience building trusted advisor relationships with business teams
