IMC has a strong presence in traditional Finance and has been expanding into Crypto over the last years. Through its overseas affiliates, IMC provides liquidity and trades on many cryptocurrency exchanges and DeFi protocols. IMC Zug is currently looking to expand its Research team, which builds the algorithms that support IMC's trading activities. Your Core Responsibilities:
- Research within a team of highly experienced Researchers in the low latency, PnL-focused trading space.
- Work with a cutting-edge data and software stack.
- Work with our high performance computing platform.
- Extensive flexibility in exploring PnL-generating opportunities within your research area
Your Skills and Experience:
- at least 1 year of experience in researching and developing fully-automated low latency crypto trading strategies. Candidates without experience in fully-automated trading strategies shall not be considered for this role.
- Background in Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Team player.
- Strong development skills in Python. Familiarity with C++ is a plus.
- Outstanding analytical skills with the ability to learn quickly.
