Type: Full-Time

Position Overview:

Surgical Data Science Collective (SDSC) is seeking a Partnership Manager to strengthen and expand our collaborations with medical institutions, researchers, and industry partners. In this role, you will be responsible for building strategic relationships, managing partnerships, and ensuring seamless collaboration between SDSC and its academic and clinical partners. You will play a key role in advancing surgical data science research by aligning our capabilities with the needs of the medical and research community.

This position is ideal for a mid-level professional with experience in partnership development, business development, or research collaborations, particularly within health tech, medical research, or academic institutions. We are looking for someone who is proactive, flourishes in a dynamic fast paced environment, and able to work cross-functionally to foster meaningful, long-term relationships that drive innovation in surgical data science.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner Network Development: Identify, initiate, and establish new partnerships and collaborations.

  • Support research initiatives by ensuring that partner needs are well integrated into SDSC’s data science and technology roadmap.

  • Work closely with internal teams to align technical capabilities with partnership goals.

  • Conceiving, launching, and optimizing co-marketing initiatives (webinars, events, email, content sharing).

  • Monitor and evaluate partnership success, providing recommendations for improvement

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Healthcare Management, or a related field (Master’s or MBA preferred).

  • 3+ years of experience in partnership management, business development, or research collaborations, preferably in healthcare, health tech, or academic research.

  • Proven ability to manage successful collaborations  in a technical or research-driven environment.

  • Strong understanding of healthcare data, medical research processes, or AI-driven technologies.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and drive initiatives to completion.

  • Experienced working with CRM and SDR tools.

  • Creative, organized, and detail-oriented.
