The Research Assistant will provide administrative support to physicians and researchers, assist with data entry, manage scheduling, and greet participants, particularly older adults.
Healthy Brain Clinic in Long Beach, CA is part of the Irvine Clinical Research site network, the largest of its kind on the West Coast. With 5 research centers in California, we are leaders in the search for new treatments in neurology. Our largest area of research is in Alzheimer’s Disease prevention and treatment drug trials, and our doctors were the largest contributors in the world to the most recently FDA-approved medication in Alzheimer’s Disease.
The Research Assistant will provide administrative support to our team of physicians, psychologists, and research coordinators. This position is designed for an ambitious individual who is willing to start at a front desk entry-level role and work their way up.
Job Duties
- Warmly greet and assist study participants at the front and back office, especially older adults
- Coordinate and troubleshoot scheduling for participant visits in collaboration with recruitment and clinical teams
- Learn complex research protocols quickly and assist with data entry
- Assist doctors, clinicians, and research coordinators with study participant visits as needed
- Provide clerical and administrative support
Job Requirements
- Excellent communication and social skills in spoken and written English
- Attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks with precision
- Willingness to commit to at least 2 years of growth and development
