Raytheon is seeking an Requirements & Capabilities (R&C) Business Lead and Capture Associate Director, RF Solutions to provide their business development and capture management acumen toward the marketing and capture of new business within our Radio Frequency Solutions organization. The Associate Director will work with the PhantomStrike Fire Control AESA radar systems team to find and capture new business for this radar product domestically and worldwide. The Associate Director supports the management of the overall PhantomStrike campaign, so the potential opportunities range from moderately complex capture to extremely complex and sized capture projects. The Associate Director will have oversight of and provides measurable effort to develop new opportunities/customers. The Associate Director will work closely with all aircraft OEMs within the United States and worldwide. She/he must have a solid understanding of the fighter jet upgrade and new market worldwide.
What You Will Do
- Customer Focus – build strong and enduring relationships with aircraft OEMs and leverage those relationships to create new business opportunities to develop a pipeline of opportunities of the business
- Plan, coordinate, and conduct customer meetings
- Facilitate Technical Exchange Meetings (TEMs) with prospective customers
- Strategize and work closely with program management from Gate 0 through Gate 5 as well as the entire product area leadership
- Align to the Raytheon Leadership Program Management (RLPM) capture planning by developing the business plan and strategy charts for the Opportunity and Strategy Gate Reviews and coordinating with Program Management
- Present and communicate effectively to all levels of our current and potential customers as well as Raytheon executives
- Support the program management capture lead from Bid and Submit Gate Reviews as well as negotiations through contract award
- Be accountable and measured on growing the PhantomStrike Fire Control Radar business
- Responsible for bookings and bookings growth in the long range plan
- Coordinate consultants and potential teammates
- Develop and keep up to date the ERPM, POAM, Bi-Weekly Updates and other required monitoring venues
- Collaborate with RTX Global Government Relations (GGR) at the Federal, State/Local on Public Policy in their advocation and development of new technologies and our solutions
- Travel 50% both domestically and internationally
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a University Degree and a minimum of 12 years of experience working with the aerospace/defense industry , or an Advanced Degree and a minimum 10 years’ experience
- 5+ years’ international business development and/or capture management experience having worked in a commercial company or the US DoD acquisition, planning/programming, or defense cooperation area, i.e. SAF/IA, DCSA
- Experience working with aircraft OEMs within the United States and worldwide
- Experience working with Radio Frequency and/or AESA technology
Qualifications We Prefer
- Knowledge of cross site and enterprise level planning and implementation practices
- Experience as a fighter aircraft end-user
- 3+ years of capture or proposal experience with USG or FMS customers
- Understanding of Raytheon’s Global Trade (EXIM), Engineering, Finance, and Contracts practices
- Excellent written and oral communication skills

The salary range for this role is 147,000 USD - 295,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
