Job Summary
Solera is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Reporting Data Analyst to support the development of dashboards, reporting workflows, and high-impact business insights across the organization.
In this role, you will partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders to pull, validate, and refine data using SQL, while building scalable reporting solutions in Looker and Power BI. You will play a key role in ensuring reporting accuracy, identifying inconsistencies, and continuously improving data processes that support operational efficiency and business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
- Write clean, efficient SQL queries (joins, CTEs, subqueries, aggregations) to extract, transform, and analyze data in BigQuery and other relational environments
- Develop, maintain, and optimize dashboards and recurring reports in Looker and Power BI
- Perform exploratory analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and data mismatches, and take proactive steps to resolve inaccuracies
- Collaborate with stakeholders across operations, product, finance, and engineering to gather reporting requirements and deliver actionable insights
- Communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences, including explanations of how and why deliverables were built
- Complete assigned reporting and analytics tasks through DevOps, including documentation of work performed and deliverables produced
- Contribute to continuous improvement of reporting consistency, metric reliability, and reusable datasets
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field
- 1–2 years of professional experience in data analytics, reporting, business intelligence, or a related field
- Internship, co-op, or hands-on academic project experience working with SQL and structured datasets is strongly preferred
Required Qualifications
- Strong SQL experience, including:
- JOINS, CTEs, subqueries, and aggregate functions
- Proven ability to identify and troubleshoot data mismatches with a critical eye for detail
- Solid understanding of data types (e.g., STRING, DATE, INT64)
- Familiarity with database schema concepts and structured data environments
- Experience with Power BI and/or Looker (LookML is a plus)
- Comfort using AI tools to improve productivity (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude, Cursor)
- Excel proficiency, including Pivot Tables
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills
- Healthcare experience
- DevOps experience and strong documentation habits
- Familiarity with cloud data warehouses such as BigQuery, Snowflake, or Redshift
- Understanding of data modeling and ETL/ELT best practices
