About the Role

ChargePoint is seeking a driven and customer-focused Renewal Account Specialist to manage the end-to-end renewal process for our existing customers. This role is key in ensuring service continuity, customer satisfaction, and revenue growth through proactive engagement, process management, and strategic upselling opportunities. You’ll serve as a trusted advisor to our customers while collaborating cross-functionally with internal teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage Contract Renewals
  • Oversee renewals for cloud subscriptions, warranty plans, and service agreements, ensuring timely and accurate execution
  • Proactive Customer Engagement
  • Reach out to customers ahead of renewal deadlines to review current services, confirm renewal intent, and provide quotes
  • Identify Upsell Opportunities
  • Understand customer needs and usage to recommend additional services, multiyear agreements, or upgraded plans
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with Sales, Customer Success, Finance, and Support teams to align on customer needs and ensure seamless handoffs
  • Maintain CRM Accuracy
  • Track opportunity status, customer interactions, and renewal forecasts using Salesforce and internal systems
  • Customer Advocacy
  • Act as the primary point of contact for renewal-related inquiries, ensuring a responsive and solutions-oriented experience
  • Reporting & Metrics
  • Provide insights on renewal trends, pipeline health, and at-risk accounts to inform business strategy

Qualifications

  • 2+ years in renewals, customer success, or account management (SaaS or subscription model experience preferred)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms
  • Organizational superpowers—you can juggle multiple accounts and timelines
  • Ability to maintain a clean, up-to-date pipeline and consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly renewal quota goals
  • Customer-first attitude with a proactive, detail-oriented approach
  • Bonus: Familiarity with EV charging solutions or ChargePoint’s offerings

Location

US Remote

ChargePoint is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The targeted US salary range for roles at this operating level is $31,500 to $85,000. This range represents base salary and does not reflect equity, benefits or variable pay where applicable. Actual base salaries are based on several factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, experience, certifications and specific work location.
