About the Position:

Customers are the lifeblood of our company and Qumulo is looking for a strategic, customer focused and results-driven Renewals Account Manager(RAM). RAM will handle the process of renewing contracts and maintaining relationships with  existing partners and customers to ensure they continue their services or subscriptions.  The Renewals Account Manager is responsible for the renewal process for existing customer accounts. This role involves building strong ongoing relationships with customers, understanding their needs and ensuring they renew their services, products or subscriptions.  The ideal candidate will work closely with Sales, Customer Success and other teams to ensure smooth renewals and improve customer retention.

Responsibilities:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure a high level of satisfaction
  • Serve as primary point of contact for partners during the renewal process
  • Assist in negotiating renewal terms with partners, maintaining a balance between customer satisfaction and company profitability
  • Collaborate with Customer Success and sales teams globally to close renewal deals and ensure any additional needs are addressed
  • Work with customer success to identify at-risk accounts and develop strategies to retain them
  • Address an issues that may prevent customers from renewing by providing effective solutions and escalating when necessary
  • Track and report on key renewal metrics, including renewal rate and churn
  • Ability to track and prioritize multiple renewals simultaneously, ensuring timely actions are taken before contract expires
Qualifications:
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Analytical mindset, with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills
  • 4 or more years experience in account management, customer success, sales or renewals
  • Experience in working in an open, collaborative environment, using tools such as Slack or Teams
  • Proven ability to manage existing accounts, including driving renewals and addressing challenges or issue that may arise during the contract lifecycle
  • Preferred:  
    • Familiarity with contract Management Systems (e.g. Salesforce Hubspot or similar platforms)

The annual pay range for the role is USD $102,000 - $152,000. 

Individual pay depends on various factors, such as role level, relevant experience and skills, and location. Pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the pay range applicable at the time.
