You will make an impact: 

As the Senior UX Researcher, you would join our newly established UX team and lead our expanding research efforts at eClinical Solutions. In this role, you'll be instrumental in driving user-centered design decisions and ensuring the delivery of delightful experiences as part of our product team. Utilizing best practices in UX research, you'll collaborate closely with clinical trial data management experts to delve into the problem space addressed by the elluminate platform and identify valuable solutions. The insights you gather, and user needs you uncover will shape our platform and product strategy. This senior-level position requires a deep understanding of UX research methodologies, strong leadership abilities, and a dedication to providing user-centric solutions.

Your day to day: 


  • Drive the end-to-end UX research process, including study design and planning, data collection, analysis/ synthesis, and deliver actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Conduct a variety of research activities, such as user interviews, contextual inquiries, surveys, usability tests, and competitive analysis, using both qualitative and quantitative research methods.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, engineers, and data analysts, to integrate research findings into the product development lifecycle.
  • Advocate for user-centered design principles and research methodologies throughout the organization, fostering a culture of empathy and customer-centric thinking.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging research methods, and share knowledge and insights with the team.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration across teams.
  • Monitor and evaluate the impact of research efforts, using metrics and feedback to continually improve the research practice and drive positive business outcomes.

Qualifications: 

  • 5 or more years of UX research experience. 
  • Deep understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies, with a strong ability to translate user insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Proficiency in conducting both qualitative and quantitative research studies, including interviews, usability tests, surveys, and data analysis.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex data and communicate research findings effectively.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate and build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Familiarity working in an Agile development environment, with the ability to adapt research methodologies to fast-paced, iterative processes.
  • Familiarity with UX design tools and software, such as usability testing platforms, wireframing/prototyping tools, and survey software.
  • A passion for user research, empathy for users, and a deep curiosity about user behavior and motivations. 
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office tools such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Teams.
  • Comfortable with project management and organization tools such as Jira, and Confluence.
  • Awareness of design and prototyping tools such as Figma or equivalent.
  • Awareness of research tools such as dovetail or equivalent.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, UX Design/Research, or a related field and/or equivalent educational experience.
  • Proven experience in UX research, including hands-on experience with a variety of research methodologies and techniques.
  • Has a portfolio of professional work for companies and/or clients that showcases research in the context of complicated, powerful software tools and/or digital experiences. 
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office tools such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Teams.
  • Comfortable with project management and organization tools such as Jira, and Confluence.
  • Awareness of design and prototyping tools such as Figma or equivalent.
  • Awareness of research tools such as dovetail or equivalent.
  • Experience working on products dealing with analytics, data integration, and/or data quality is a plus.
  • Experience working on products and services in life sciences, healthcare, and/or pharmaceuticals is a plus. 
  • Flexible team player comfortable working within a group as well as independently.
  • A self-motivated, task-driven individual who can work remotely with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and can clearly articulate findings and suggestions.
  • Strong time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
