About the Position: We're seeking a talented and adaptable part-time Graphic Designer to join our marketing team. In this role, you'll work directly with the Marketing Manager and other stakeholders to develop compelling visual assets that communicate our brand story, support our sales team, and engage our target audience. Our marketing team is small, agile, and impact-focused, with a commitment to creating high-quality materials that drive business results. The ideal candidate for this role is a skilled designer who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. They are eager to understand our product and target demographics in order to design effective and engaging visual content. This position is part-time and fully remote.

Responsibilities:

  • Design engaging sales enablement materials including one-pagers, slide decks, pricing sheets, and event collateral
  • Create visual assets for marketing initiatives including email graphics, blog imagery, social media content, and infographics
  • Analyze existing design work to maintain brand consistency while evolving our visual identity
  • Develop efficient processes for managing design requests and feedback cycles
  • Manage multiple competing priorities and deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines
  • Collaborate efficiently with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and translate them into effective visual solutions
  • Help develop and document comprehensive brand guidelines to ensure consistency across all materials
  • Continuously improve design processes and workflows to increase efficiency
  • Stay current on design trends and best practices in B2B marketing and the legal technology space
  • Stay informed about product development timelines and upcoming features to proactively ideate relevant sales and marketing materials
  • Proactively gather requirements when design briefs are vague or incomplete

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in graphic design, preferably in a B2B or SaaS environment
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating versatility across different design formats
  • Excellent visual design skills with a strong understanding of typography, layout, color theory, and composition
  • Highly skilled in Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, PowerPoint, and Figma
  • Efficient remote worker familiar with collaboration tools such as Google Workspace, Slack, and Fellow
  • Exceptional time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and contribute to multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interpret design needs and articulate design decisions
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative in a dynamic, sometimes ambiguous environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or equivalent experience

Preferred Experience:

  • Video editing and motion graphics skills
  • Previous startup or tech experience
  • Familiarity with the legal industry, legal technology sector, or SaaS marketing
  • Experience developing brand guidelines and visual identity systems
  • History of successfully managing competing priorities in fast-paced environments
  • Track record of improving design processes and workflows

Compensation Range:

  • The pay range for this part-time position is between $30-$40 an hour; however, the final hourly pay will be determined based on several factors, including geographical location, level of experience, relevant skills, and knowledge.
