Iron Mountain is seeking a motivated and strategic Equipment Remarketing Sourcing Specialist to join our Asset Lifecycle Management (ALM) team.

In this vital, high-impact role, you will be responsible for driving revenue and product development by sourcing strategic IT equipment through wholesale opportunities with industry peers and strategic partners. Your primary focus will be on acquiring a diverse range of materials to expand our inventory for various sales channels, including our e-commerce platform and wholesale bid opportunities.

This role is part of a collaborative global team that supports the North American market, working closely with key players in operations and remarketing.

What You’ll Do

In this role, you will:

  • Drive Strategic Sourcing and Inventory Acquisition: Actively target and engage industry peers in the IT Asset Disposition (ITAD)/IT Asset Management (ITAM) space to identify and secure wholesale purchasing opportunities for a variety of IT products.

  • Manage Partner Pipeline and Product Development: Develop and manage a robust pipeline of new partners, negotiate acquisition deals, and execute purchases to acquire diverse equipment for refurbishment and resale, serving both e-commerce and wholesale channels.

  • Ensure Operational Compliance and Support: Serve as a subject matter expert on product valuations, collaborate with internal operations teams, and ensure all purchasing transactions adhere to internal and regulatory compliance standards.

What You’ll Bring

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven Experience in IT Sourcing/Purchasing: At least 1+ years of experience in purchasing, account management, or materials sourcing, with specific exposure to the ITAD or ITAM space.

  • Strong Technical and Industry Knowledge: Basic technical understanding of a variety of IT hardware (desktops, laptops, servers, networking, etc.) and knowledge of compliance requirements in the ITAD industry.

  • Exceptional Teamwork and Communication Skills: A highly collaborative, team-oriented mindset with proven ability to negotiate and communicate effectively with vendors and strategic partners.

  • Proficiency in Data and Reporting Tools: Competence in utilizing tools like Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel for data analysis, pipeline tracking, and reporting.

Reasonably expected salary range: $60,600.00 - $75,800.00
