About the Position 

As the Regional Vice President of Sales for the Eastern U.S., you will play a pivotal role in partnering closely with regionally based sales executives, the SVP of The Americas, and internal subject matter experts. Your primary responsibility will be to drive the sales process, support your assigned team, and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed ambitious sales goals.  

The position will support implementing strategic initiatives to expand market presence, build and nurture long-term relationships, and collaborate with the global leadership team to align the regional strategy with overall corporate objectives. This role demands a highly intelligent, positive, and self-motivated leader who can inspire teams and deliver transformative growth 

Primary Responsibilities

  • Assist assigned sales team to design and execute various sales campaigns
  • Coach and mentor assigned sales team to ensure highest level of execution and performance for the team.
  • Collaborate with the SVP, The Americas to drive sales strategy, identify gaps in the team or training, assist in the recruitment process as needed, assist in designing, developing and implementing processes, and reporting performance of the team as needed.
  • Managing Pipeline velocity, build, closure and quality of the assigned team’s information
  • Deliver regional budget, ARR target view and upsells
  • Build a team culture that reflects the growth aspirations of Energy Exemplar, built on collaboration , trust, sales DNA and customer first mentality Sales
  • Developing and driving sales for assigned territory.
  • Collaborating with Marketing and SDR team on campaigns, communications and customer events
  • Maintain accountability for the assigned sales teams performance as a region, including meeting and exceeding sales goals.
  • Ensure that assigned region is contributing adequately to overall sales numbers and budgets.

Candidate Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in technology or sales related field
  • 10+ years of experience in direct enterprise software sales across the Americas
  • Experience operating across the Energy, Power, Utilities or Oil and Gas industry preferred
  • Proven track record of success in a senior leadership role within the software industry, ideally with experience scaling operations within a region.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead diverse teams and drive results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Exceptional strategic thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
  • Proven track record of sales quota achievement
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Strong understanding of sales, marketing, customer success, and operational best practices

The base pay range for this position is between $200,000 - 220,000 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
