POSITION SUMMARY

The Regional Vice President - North America has a pivotal leadership role in driving sales growth and expanding market share within the executive jet sector. This individual is responsible for developing and implementing strategic sales plans, cultivating strong relationships with high-net-worth individuals and corporate clients, and leading a high-performing sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets. Additionally, they must possess a deep understanding of the aviation market, excellent negotiation and communication skills, and a proven track record of exceeding sales targets.

JOB RESPONSIBLITIES

  • Manages, coordinates, monitors and controls sales activities through contract closing related to Executive Jet Sector to ensure efficient and effective sales operations
  • Develops strategies, conducts briefings and presentations, leads, as appropriate, formal proposal efforts and supports Regional Sales Managers responsible for securing contracts
  • Establishes and achieves national sales targets
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue goals and expand market reach.
  • Track sales performance against targets, analyze data, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Manage sales budgets and resources to optimize sales effectiveness.
  • Work closely with other departments, such as marketing, operations, and engineering, to support sales efforts and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Participates with company leadership to develop sales strategies for national accounts and identifies target opportunities within the context of the organization-wide strategy and Action Plan.
  • Knowledgeable about market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new opportunities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, industry partners and peer relationships.
  • Manages productivity (effectiveness/efficacy) and the organizational results for the area.
  • Lead, motivate, and mentor a sales team, providing guidance and support to achieve individual and team targets.
  • Manages direct reports in terms of professional performance, career development, training, area/team/company integration
  • Manages assigned aircraft demonstration and travel
  • Honors and protects company confidential and proprietary documents and information.

ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Capacity to be flexible, curious and continue to learn
  • Proven experience in B2B sales within the aviation industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a sales team.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and other sales tools.
  • In-depth understanding of the aviation industry and its market dynamics.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Understanding financial modeling and budgeting.
  • Ability to identify and resolve complex sales-related issues.

Education:

  • BA/BS degree, preferably in Business Marketing or Administration, Engineering, Communication, Finance;
  • MBA Preferred

Experience:

  • 7+ years of sales experience with demonstrated success in the general or executive aircraft industry

Working Conditions / Environment/ Special Requirements

  • Ability to work in a safe, professional manner adhering to all regulatory requirements including, OSHA, EPA, EEOC, and any other applicable State and Federal regulation.
  • Travel requirements between 50% and 75%.
